I downloaded the free software for designing a photo book. It is very, very good offering lots of different layouts, arrangements and background (including using your own photos) for each page. It is easy to use but allow plenty of time to discover just what is possible.

The book arrived and it far exceeded my expectations. It looks very professional in design and the photo print quality is excellent. All the photos in the book had been printed by various firms before including some professional wedding printing. The book's photo were equal or better.

I did the book as a trial run for a wedding I'm covering and I'll certainly use Jacobs for the album.

Allow a lot of time to design and be very careful to follow instructions, if you for example want to use a faded out black and white for a background make sure you untick the box for auto improvement. I missed one and the background b/w photo was darkened again, ok but not what I intended.

I ordered a photobook, took me ages to arrange using their software, my internet connection went down during the transfer stage , and to get back to where I was I had to start again, so I was initially charged twice, had a dispatch notification and to this day I am still waiting, I cannot see how a telephone book can take up to 10 business days (2 weeks) to go less than a hundred miles, anyway avoid this service like the plague. I am doubting that they have even sent it, probably just sat in some lab somewhere. But they don't care now because they have my money.
