Had Dealt With This Company For A Few Years Now.
Had dealt with this company for a few years now. Everything good and prices excellent - free delivery too. But erlier on this year placed an order which did not arrive - emails all ignored - phoned direct and told order being despatched and have heard nothing since. NO refund either but online they said they were updating their website. So I hang in there - I did notice over the years though that I never could access my account with them - it always said apologies but updating website etc. What a disappointment as I especially wanted the Refill Sheets for their Ultimate Albums - now have loads of albums but dont know where to find the refill sheets.

Have Been Caught Like Meny Others. Paid For Items
Have been caught like meny others. Paid for items back in february and March 2010, but only part of order turned up. Tried e mailing many times, but they never responded. Finally got thenm to answer telephone in April when they promised delivery in June. Have now found out they have gone bust. Another bunch on con artists. Beware anyone using there new website - inyourbasket.com - being set up at present.

BE WARNED - As others have stated, this company appears to be starting again under the name of INYOURBASKET.COM. AVOID THEM LIKE THE PLAGUE. If they are anything like their previous incumbents (including MX2, their holding company), then you will have nowt but trouble.
I placed an order with Directfoto in March and after waiting and pursuing with calls and emails, I found out they've entered liquidation. As a result, I've lost my money and no goods to show for it, barring some automated response emails and no apology. I should've done my research, then I'd've given them a wide berth. The owners of the company ought to be ashamed of themselves.

Submitted online order start of Dec, they took payment twice. Kept ringing , was told problem with their printer, They said all photos held on their system as I explained they had the only copies as my computer had crashed..........now I find they are no longer trading so I've lost precious photos and money......I'd used them for the past twenty years......

ordered something about 4-5months ago - nothing arrived.
Contacted them - nothing.
Aparently they have gone into liquidation, without notifying customers at all, and worse of all taking money for orders that will never turn up.

I suspect the same thing will happen - pls pls tell everyone you know not to order from this site.

Like Many Other People, I Have Been Robbed By Dire
Like many other people, I have been robbed by Directfoto. I submitted an order in March for £65 which, suprisingly, never arrived. After sending numerous emails which never got answered, I contacted Guernsey Trading Standards who told me Directfoto had gone into voluntary liquidation. It would be a nice thought to know that these crooks are finally out of business but sadly this is not the case. I checked their website recently and saw that they are to begin trading again under the new name of InYourBasket.com. I suspect the only thing going into their basket is peoples hard earned cash.

Directfoto Appear To Have Stopped Trading, Not Sur
Directfoto appear to have stopped trading, not sure if temporarily or permanently. Unfortunately, I would say. I have used them regularly over the past five years for batteries, memory cards and camera film, always offered unbeatable prices (yes, often even better than ebay) and, in my experience, prompt customer service. Review websites such as this show a considerable amount of negative feedback, but in my experience they are (or should say were) good and reliable. Never failed to deliver an order, quite often very prompt too; and I sure have used them at least 20-30 times over the years.
Dear thatlittlemonkey, your suspect is completely wrong. I have nothing to do with them and yes, really, have used them several times and had no problem, apart from the odd delay. With this I do not mean that people like you who sadly have lost their money dont have a right to complain. Just for me it did work fine, and several times - although the last was in January 2010, i.e. well before they went into liquidation. I will give the new company a try and provide feedback.
I found this review not helpful because I am one of the many many people unhappy with their service. I suspect this person may be connected to the company as their review is completely at odds with genuine customers' experiences and frankly in the realms of fantasy. 5 stars across the board? Having a laugh. Thank God they've gone out of business.

I think Directfoto might have gone out of business - website down, phone numbers down, no response to emails. Or maybe they're just taking a holiday and not telling us.
£30 out of pocket. Not good!

Ordered A Rechargeable Battery And A Battery Charg
Ordered a rechargeable battery and a battery charger - urgently needed for batteries for a TENS machine. Received the battery - but still waiting for the battery charger. Will now have to buy one locally as I cannot afford to wait any longer for this one to arrive. Over a month - no reply to e-mails, when you ring you get the standard answer machine - ie press 1 or 2, and then canned music! Not sure if the company is still trading - as they do not anser phone or reply to e-mails. Wish I had checked them out by reading these reviews first - I will make sure I do this in future.

Ordered Two Sizes Of Photo Paper, Recieved One + E
Ordered two sizes of photo paper, recieved one + email that other was on backorder but still charged credit card for both. 5 weeks later order still not completed, they have totally ignored my emails. Now in the hands of Credit card company to get refunded for item not recieved.
