Happy With The Product And Service
Actually took a chance on this company before reading into it solely because the price was so cheap compared to elsewhere. After I ordered I read up on DigitalRev and read the reviews and concluded that I had made a horrendous mistake and would have to wait see what happens in regards to my order.
After ordering I got my confirmation etc and then a shipment message detailing package ref. and that order could take up to 4 weeks to deliver. After waiting nervously, my order arrived in 2 weeks and very nicely packaged. Product appears to be new and legit.
Things to bear in mind when ordering...don't order if you need it immediately (as I was taking a chance i ordered in good time in case things went awry) and some countries may need to pay customs fees ...I'm in the uk and didn't on this occasion but I'm unsure how customs works.

Beware Of Price Changes
The camera, a Nikon D3200, was great and a good deal. After it arrived i when back to the website 6 days later to show the site to my nephew. The price for the camera was 439 and when I checked my paperwork I saw I was charged 459. I went on line to their chat line to ask about it, thinking that I may have been overcharged. I was told that prices change all the time. I asked SEVEN times when the price change took place and received an evasive answer six times before being told by the woman that she didn't know. I felt she was being deceitful. If she didn't know repeating an evasive answer six times didn't make any sense. I do not trust this company and would advise you to look in local ads for sales. If they have a price change you don't have to talk with someone in Hong Kong and they often have to give you the difference if the sale is within so many days of your purchase. Fast shipping but not comfortable with this company.

Item Went Missing
I bought a £169 Nikkor telephoto lens.
It was sent by DHL and the following happened.
1) It was supposedly delivered by DHL but to the wrong address and someone other than me signed for it and the item went missing.
2) I contacted DigitalRev online live support who told me to wait longer and didn't read what I had typed. When I repeated the problem, they said email DR. I said what is the point of live support and they just terminated the conversation.
3) I emailed DR directly and they wrote back full of so-called apologies but told me to chase the DHL myself.
4) I told them to chase DHL as it is their courier of choice and they have a business account with them. No reply since. i called DHL who promised to chase the driver but never called me back. I've escalated to a PayPal claim and will never use DR again.
Digitalrev a message for you; You can create a trendy brand name and website and have outsourced live chat, do all the social media marketing, have tech reviews, keen prices but if you cannot support UK customers from Hong ind then it is all pointless. I will buy from Amazon or Amazon Marketplace in the future. Not much price difference and way more peace of mind.

HOW REFRESHING A SITE THAT ANSWERS THE TELEPHONE WITHIN 5 SECONDS, ORDERED CAMERA THROUGH WEB SITE ON THE THURSDAY IN MY HANDS MONDAY MORNING EVEN WITH ALL THE SNOW WE HAD.
WRAPPED IN YARDS OF BUBBLE WRAP. USA PLUG BUT HEY THERE WAS AN ADAPTOR IN THE BOX.
THEY USE DHL FOR DELIVERY AND YOU CAN TRACK EVERY STEP TO SEE WHERE THE PACKAGE IS AND WHEN IT WILL BE DELIVERED. FULL OF PRAISE FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE----THANKS DIGITALREV

Avoid Digital Rev - Their 14-day Returns Policy Sucks
I bought a camera from DigitalRev for £1900. It was supposed to be sent by DHL and I'd have to sign for it. I was out when it arrived, so they just left it on the doorstep! The packaging was inadequate (bubble-wrap and DHL's plastic bag). When I opened it, all the corners of the packaging had severe dents.
I looked into returning the camera based on their 14-day, no questions asked policy. You then find that a 15% restocking fee will be charged if the packaging is damaged (£289.35 in this case). You are also responsible for the cost of posting it back (to Hong Kong) and making sure it is adequately insured (cheapest price was £149.35)
I could include a note about the inadequate packaging and subsequent damage, but I run the risk of my not being believed and having to pay the re-stocking fee.
In sort, I'm forced to keep the camera or face a likely £440 cost to return it.
I would seriously look at whom I'm buying from in the future. Stick with a UK company - they may not be able to compete with Hong Kong, but at least they must abide by the Distance Selling Regs, and returning an item would be less expensive.

After contacting Digital Rev further, They were kind enough, in my case, to pay for the collection of my camera and offered a full refund. I can therefore say that my experience of their customer service is greatly increased.

Not Uk Based At All
Ordered a camera battery, two weeks+ wait because Hong Kong based. Faulty item sent and unhelpful returns policy, which would make you wait another month+ for it to be sorted before you hopefully get what you originally wanted. Battery costing £49.99 put in the dustbin and bought replacement from a more reliable UK based company. Not Recommended.

Nikon D5100
Ordered my Nikon D5100 on wednesday afternoon. Had it delivered to work on Friday at 4:50PM. 2 days from HongKong to London is fantastic.
The camera is great and no damage during transport. I could also track the delivery all the time with DHL tracking number I was given. Wery good service and very prompt delivery. thanks guys.
Also the price was the cheapest I could fine anywhere online, so even more happy.

I have used this online camera retailer a few times now over several years, and would recommend them.
They are based in Hong Kong, but don't let that put you off.
I just bought a Panasonic DMC-LX7 for £329, which is £499 in Jessops! It was full UK spec, delivered in 2 working days by DHL express, and all the VAT and duty is included in the price.
They have a good reputation and will replace items with no problems.
Their web site is very good. The order process is easy to follow, and you can track the progress of an order, and track exactly where your delivery is once it is on route.
