I visited Digital Depot to get passport photos taken using their £4.99 service. Before they started I made sure to ask whether I could get a digital copy of the photo.

"Nope" they replied, "we only give you the printed photo.

"You can't email the photo to me?"

"Nope"

"I need a digital copy to make an online application for a passport, how will a paper photo help me?"

"Dunno".

I left without bothering to have my photo taken.

I hadn't used digital depot previously and they didn't tend to show up in search results and so when I saw my camera for less than elsewhere I wasn't sure about ordering. However reading other people's reviews convinced me that I wouldn't be left with no help or a grey import I ordered my camera. 2 days later I had exactly what I ordered, UK model with warranty and all associated leads. The camera was very well packaged. I will definitely be buying from them again.

I've bought a couple of things from Digital Depot online - a DSLR last year and a new lens this year. Both times, I took advantage of their weekend online price drops, which made them the cheapest proper UK stock I could find anywhere. Both times I got an email saying the items had been dispatched first thing on the Monday morning, and the items turned up well packed and all in good order.

If I had any quibbles, it would be nice to see parcel tracking information as part of the dispatch notice email, but since I paid nothing for the free (3-4 days) delivery and had it next day I really cannot complain!

I don't normally write a review but from the great service that I have just received from these people they deserve one.

I made my purchase of a Canon 7D Mark II and a 100-400 Mark II Lens by phone on Friday afternoon and by Tuesday morning the items had arrived well packaged as promised. I also sold my Canon 300L IS Lens to them and once it had been received and checked a couple of days later the money was paid into my bank.

I normally would buy from WEX or MPB but decided to take advantage of a decent price on the Lens and Camera.

This is the first time I have purchased from Digital Depot and would recommend this

company.

Drove from West Wales to Stevenage to get my hands on a 150-450 Pentax Hd lens at a price that really worried me it was so cheap, but when I got there I found an extremely impressive Procentre with great staff.?

The lens was UK Stock guaranteed for 2yrs and was some 30% lower in price than the best internet price.

The team let me trial the lens outside the shop on two different bodies for over an hour and overall I was so impressed I bought a second body as well as the lens.

Now I have been to DD at Stevenage I will try them for everything; it is agreat company and great team to deal with.

I rang to confirm things prior to finalising my order. They were extremely helpful enabling me to order my

Lens without worry.

When my Lens arrived, I have to confess how amazed I was at the quality of the product as well as the purchase price and delivery.

All in all, I would re on end these people without reservation.

Checked website and it said Sony a6000's in stock

Visit store to purchase as they are close to where I live and I say I'm after an a6000 only to be told they are out of stock and wont be back in stock till the 13 of feb and its not the first time I've been in to make a purchase and been told the item is out of stock

Digital Depot occasionally do some grewat deals and have some good items for sale but often can be seen at lower prices elsewhere. Good for items you cant find anywhere else.

I find the Digital Depot website very easy to navigate and because they have the "talk to us" box one can get a pretty instant response during business hours.

It is a good site with a wide variety of items available.

My only small (very small gripe) is that often with the second hand items it is not until you click on them to buy, that it says it is not available. But realistically this is not a major just an irritation.

What I do like is the advise and information that is available through the "chat" facility. The only times I have used this it has been both informed, and useful.
