Emailed To Check Stock Af An Item - No Reponse Aft
Emailed to check stock af an item - no reponse after 3 weeks. Looks like other have the same problems?
I would be very reluctant to buy from them as I guess they would be even less likely to reply to emails if I had a problem!

Purchased A Bag From Them (july 2010) Which They C
Purchased a bag from them (July 2010) which they couldn't supply and they refused to supply an alternative (same Lowepro Apex 60 but in different colour). They removed the item from the website after processing my order and although they informed me the next day their attitude left a lot to be desired. I got the impression that they're just a box shifter that advertises out of stock items at low prices to drive traffic. Since I was buying this bag for a charity I have to get the best price and go through a bit more trouble than when purchasing personally so it's doubly frustrating that they cancelled my order after doing all the paperwork. It wasted my and my colleagues time. To improve the situation they could notify customers if they have actual stock (they claim to have been an internet business for 10 years but still don't have live stock indicators) and make sure their on-line advertising is more truthful " they blamed Google for slow updates.
To their credit, they did contact me some days later to tell me they could now supply the bag I had purchased and, after I ' d accepted, they dispatched very quickly. They also told me they plan to update their website with clearer indication of their ordering policy
The item was ordered at 10.25pm on the 21st and we notified the customer as soon as we found out at 12.35pm on the 22nd that the item was no longer available from the importers as we had sold out the previous day. The blue bag ordered was on special offer and we could not match the price with one that was not on special as we do not put large margins on items. No money had been taken and the customer was notified of this when he completed the order and in a confirmation email. We do state in the terms and conditions that if an item is urgent or a customer wants confirmation of stock they should give us a ring.

Best Price For This Item: Ir Remote Control Plus C
Best price for this item: IR remote control plus cable release. Next day delivery. Product was slightly different to what I ordered (cable was for different camera model), but I got a quick email response saying that the cable I'd ordered was out of stock and he thought I might need the main IR remote before the bank holiday so had sent the nearest thing. He then posted out to me the right cable for my camera. Excellent service.

I Was Looking For A Tripod And Head For My D80 And
I was looking for a tripod and head for my D80 and Sigma 70-200 F2.8. I was lost with all the choices out there so I decided to give College Cameras and call to see if they could help me out. They were incredibly helpful on the phone and guided me through the maze of options available to me. We got it down to a couple of options of which I then went away and had a think about.Once I had decided what I wanted I placed an order on their website and 24hours later I had the tripod and head on the camera and in use!Will defiantly use them again and highly recommend them!

Disappointed With The Delivery Service From Colleg
Disappointed with the delivery service from College Cameras - was promised that i would have it delivered on fri, did not get it, courier did not pick it up. Then promised for monday, again did not receive it, sent to wrong depot.... now waiting to see if it will finally arrive on tuesday.
i ordered the tripod in Nov to make sure that i would have it before x-mas. they took the money from my card than told me that part of the order was not in stock. had to wait until mid december from them to actually despatch it.
considering that they are an online retailer I feel it is poor that they do not seem to communicate via e-mail. I did not receive an order confirmation / invoice by e-mail, or a dispatch email either.
will not use again.
