I'm Disappointed In Butterfly Photo. It's My First

I'm disappointed in Butterfly Photo. It's my first order for my senior citizen parents for a digital camera. An agent called them the same evening with a pressure talk that they need to purchase more stuff that they need for the camera. Being senior citizens, they agreed but was traumatized by the experience. I tried to cancel the "extras" the following day but was given what I expected them to say, "the shipment already went out." And if I return anything, I'll be responsible for shipping fees. I question their practice of unnecessary soliciting.

Horrible Customer Support! Beware! I Purchased A

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT! Beware! I purchased a digital camera from them and when it arrived it was defective. I called customer support and got a rude person. He contradicted the store's return policy, threatened to hang up, used offensive language and then basically tried to frustrate me into hanging up so they wouldn't have to deal with the problem. He even said "It's the manufacturer's problem, not ours". I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM THEM because of their customer support. Beware.... They do not back their products. I purchased stuff from www.Techforless.com and they were fantastic to deal with! I recommend them instead if you're going to buy something over the web.

I Ordered A Panasonic Lumix Lz2 From Butterfly Pho

I ordered a Panasonic Lumix LZ2 from Butterfly Photo for my baby's arrival in next couple of weeks. At the time of order they showed the item 'In stock'. They sent order confirmation confirming that order is going to be shipped in next 48 hours.

Next day I got an e mail requesting me to call them(as if I was not available on the telephone). When I called, they did everything to sell accessories at the exorbitant price. Somehow I survived.

After waiting for additional two days,I gave them a call again to see why the order is not yet shipped. Now they say that item is out of stock.They wanted me to change my order and select another camera( They even suggested a camera to order). When I said I cannot decide on a camera like that they said that they will ship this item when they get it in stock. When are you going to get the item in stock .. NOT SURE.

Finally, I had to cancel my order.

Every Time I Try To Buy Something At A Good Price

Every time I try to buy something at a good price (rebate, etc...) they have some problems, and lately they do not accept credit cards!
