Impossibe To Find Help Please
can anyone give me a current pnohe number as the one on my invoice wont take calls and the website www.bestcameras.co.uk doesnt exist have they gone out of BUSINESS?

Don't Be Surprised If It's Not In Stock
I ordered a Nikon D3100 camera and chose the 3yr warranty, Samsonite case and extra battery package.
The camera was said to be out of stock, then arriving next week, then week after then the week after that bla bla bla.
It took almost 2 months to arrive, I received it at the end of January this year and I am still waiting for the extra battery.
Despite numerous phone calls to their office ( which is not cheap as I live in Cyprus) and them telling me they had been let down by their supplier, I decided to see if they had a battery in stock on line and sure enough they had. I called them and suggested they send me one of these to complete the order, they refused. They did however offer to sell me one for £35 plus delivery, almost twice the price I had been quoted elsewhere.
This company is a complete and utter waste of space, given the choice again I would pay a few pounds more and use a reputable company.

ordered a digital camera from this company & was under the impression it was in-stock, had an email shortly after confirming the item was currently out of stock, i would adivise anybody wishing to order from this company to phone or email before ordering any items, they are quick enough to charge you for the item when you go through payment system.

Ordered My Lens On The Evening Of The 14/11/10 - A
Ordered my lens on the evening of the 14/11/10 - A Sunday! Was informed by e-mail exactly as to when the DPD courier delivery would come to me.....they even give you a one hour delivery slot....excellent! Lens arrived on the morning of 16/11/10 and was as described on the website. Brilliant and efficient service by Bestcameras. Could not ask for an easier online shopping experience. Five stars rightly awarded. Will definitely use again.

Chose The Camera I Wanted And Did The Usual Resear
Chose the camera I wanted and did the usual research for best price. Although Bestcameras was not the cheapest (not by much) I have used them before and found them to be really good. Phoned to check if they had stock and the chap went to have a look and said, Yes. Took about five minutes to complete transaction. I received a text message next morning saying my parcel from BestCameras would be delivered between 12.15 and 13.15. It was 12.30. What more can I say? Brilliant.

Rang to confirm stock, answered by a helpful agent who was courteous and efficient, it was in stock
I ordered at 12.30pm and it was delivered at 10.10am the next morning. Courier was DPD, if you leave them a mobile number they will text you a delivery time with a 1 hour window, mine was 09.54 -10.54. Less than 24 hours, fantastic.
Camera arrived in perfect condition with a free case and a table top tripod, delivery was also free.
Can't fault them at all. Excellent company.

I Would Seriously Recommend That People Stay Clear
I would seriously recommend that people stay clear of bestcameras.co.uk.
I've been waiting for my Canon 550D bundle kit for almost a month now when other retailers have them in stock. The same old excuse that Canon can't produce them fast enough to meet demand. So when I asked could they explain why other retailers had them in stock, they said I was lying! Right, go and do some research on contact the other retailers!
Prices - very competitive.
Choice - well, shame that they can't back up their promises of providing competitively priced products with actual stock.
Website - no link between stock levels and product item. Come on - what kind of nonsense is this?
In one word - avoid. I would rather pay extra from another retailer than deal with these clowns.
I found this review not helpful because...it was a bit over the top. They give their phone number which many sites don't. A quick phone call will confirm stock levels.

I Ordered A 550d About A Month Ago. All Though The
I ordered a 550D about a month ago. All though they did not take any monies they coudl not confirm a date for delivery. They just kept stating stock problems at Canon. I could not find such stories on the internet. First it was June for stock delivery then July then now August. They do have the best package on the internet for the price but what is the point when you have to wait months for delivery. I have now purchased from another supplier who has stock and can deliver within two days.

I Ordered A Canon S90 Just Before Xmas (21st Dec).
I ordered a Canon S90 just before Xmas (21st Dec). It wasn't ordered as a present, and given the busy time of year I wasn't expecting fast delivery, but it arrived on 24th :-)
Unfortunately it devloped a fault six months later.
BestCameras/Kamera Photgraphic repaired it under warranty and refunded my postage.
So fast delivery and excellent after sales service !
