Having spent the past 3 years playing a variety of penny auction sites let me tell you there is the good the bad and down right ugly. I have had my fair share of highs and lows. What I have noticed over this time is how quickly these sites vanish leaving users such as me high and dry. I have been let down by several of these so called sites so I was quite skeptical when I stumbled upon Unibids.com.

My initial impression of this site was how different it looked compared to the others, then i spotted that it offered a number of different auction types. The one that caught my eye was the Instant Win Auction. So I signed up and joined for free I got several bids free so that made nice change. I started playing the Instant win I like the appeal of this one then tried the lowest unique auction and finally the penny auction. All auctions had good items and before i knew it all my bids where gone:-( So I took the plunge and purchased some more bids, pricing was about the same as other sites like Madbid but i prefer this. I focused on the iMac computer that was featured on their secret price auction and submitted several bids. Anyway to cut a long story short my determination and patience eventually paid off and I won the iMac for £11.82. To be honest it took many bids for me to do it but I still saved a fortune. The item arrived on time as was promised so my verdict is that this site gets the thumbs up from me! The only thing I didn't like is that there is not many auctions listed i hope they change that hence why i have given this review 4 stars.
