Not A True Auction Site. I Won A Watch At Auction
Not a true auction site. I won a watch at auction. Watch was delivered to wrong address by Fedex. Fedex was sent to pick up watch from incorrect addressee. Watch was then delivered to correct addressee - me - right? Wrong. I get an email from the U Bid Auction site stating that the watch was returned to the seller, and my credit card account would be credited. Summary - a product I legitimately won at auction was no longer mine because of a shipping error? Customer service was lousy in helping me with this claim. I had to do the research and tell U Bid where the incorrect delivery address was located in my community.
Suggestions - stick to true auction sites like Overstock, Bid4Assets, Bidz, and Ebay. On these sites, if you are low bidder, you OWN that product the second the auction closes - even if there is a shipping error. Also, on U bid, ALWAYS check the shipping prices BEFORE you start bidding. $25 to ship a pair of binoculars? $32 to ship a Bluetooth?
