EXTREMELY HELPFUL,NOTHING SEEMS TO BE TOO MUCH TROUBLE TOO THEM, AND

AND IN MY BOOK THAT IS A HUGE PLUS.

PERSONALLYI HAVE FOUND IT TO BE LOTS OF FUN AND INTERESTING

CANNOT RECOMEND IT HIGHLY ENOUGH ,ITS A FACT CASTOFF IS GETTING BIGGER

Simply fantastic, easy to use fantastic value and very friendly and helpful staff. I am a seller on castoff and Marcus has helped me to grow my business by promoting it with adverts on his site and even a flier campaign which his in house staff designed for me had printed and delivered to me and how much did this all cost you ask ... FREE would other auction sites do that ....

I will always check castoff 1st before i buy anything and always list anything i have for sale with them..very impressed.

cheaper and way better than ebay, live customer support, if you ask they will ring you, email them and your sure to get a response fast, over all i think castoff is the best uk auction site ever, thank god for castoff ~:)

At last a u.k only auction site, that is easy to navigate for the buyer and fantastic for the seller to.

I'm very impressed with how easy it is to list items and having the option of being able to upload numerous photos and now video(although i'll leave video to others) and the fees are clearly described and low.

And follow up phone calls by site creaters to ensure smooth transactions, this site is amazing and shows other simlar sites how easy it is to get it right.

I started using castoff.net 1 week ago (at the time of writing this review) and I am happy with their services and their website.

This Review is going to be done in Various sections to help you see the full potential of Castoff.net whether you be a private seller on feebay or a business seller on feebay.

LAYOUT & DESIGN

The Layout & design of the new auction site has been well thought about and looks so much better than the other auction sites I have been on as they have a whats ending soon list by category on the home page and also a whats new this week so you can see some of the newer items that have been listed this week.

NAVIGATION

Castoff.net is so much easier to navigate than Ebay is and I can honestly say that I have bid on a few items and only had to click around 2-3 times to find what I was looking for unlike Ebay where you have to click loads of times to filter all the stuff from abroad out of it etc etc.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

The Customer support from castoff.nets staff is all from a real live person and is based within the UK too. The customer support team at castoff are always happy to help and advise anyone when they possibly can.

I recall when I wanted to sell cleaning products and Food through their website they explained the situation to me and was really helpful and professional at all times. They are willing to help either by phone UK lo-call number can be found on their website,E-mail support is quick and effective their e-mail address can be found on their website also and Last of all they are available on the facebook as they have a fan page on there and it is looked at by their staff and they will reply as soon as they can.

For registered members of castoff.net they can also be contacted via message using the contact castoff link situated at the top of the page.

The only downside to this website is they are a new venture and there will be glitches and bugs that appear but they are sorted out within 24 hours normally.

VALUE FOR MONEY

Castoff reward both sellers and buyers on castoff when they have past certain milestones which is fully detailed on their website under the thanku rebate scheme link at the bottom of the page near their pricing link.

I can honestly say that when I sold an item through castoff as a business seller that I was charged only 8% of the final sales value although the item was sold for just £1 on a buy it now listing it only cost me 12p in total to sell the particular item as it was put on as a multiple of 9 otherwise if it is just a single item on a buy it now listing it is 30p listing fee plus extras that you choose such as themes.

OVERALL

Once I started to list on castoff's new platform to find it incredibly cheaper than feebay as I had listed around 26 items some auction and some buy it nows all for less than £7 and to find that when one of my items sold it was well worth it. The item sold for £1 but sold 9 of them as there was a multiple of 9 listed to find I was only charged a further 8% of the selling value on top of the 30p for the buy it now style listing.

You are not obliged to use feebays Paypal at all I offer the options of Direct Bank Transfer(bacs),postal order,Cheque or cash on collection all of which is totally allowed. The first option I offer my customer as a payment term is totally free of charge for us and them(other than a phonecall to the bank if they have to do it on the phone) and the other options carry the cost of the postage and maybe post office fees for the postal order.

What I like about castoff is the low fees,the reward scheme for buyers and sellers alike and the easy to navigate and use site it has a crisp new red design and looks amazing.

The Platform is aimed at the UK only which causes less problems for most sellers and buyers knowing all the items are from UK sellers and will be sent in the UK.

The customer service is great I encountered a few problems while trying to list a couple of items on the site and at one point I had lost all my items that I was following and bidding on and once I had informed castoff about the problem it was rectified in no time.

The customer care comes from a live person rather than automated and they are even able to help on the phone within the uk, Their own Facebook page and Email which is a plus.

The only downside to it is there will be bugs for a short time untill they are found and sorted which is the same with all websites and not just this one.

I have chosen castoff over feebay and ebid for many of reasons detailed above and most of all its free to join and you pay at the end of each month rather than in advance as it is with ebid and the lower fees which are cheaper than feebay.

Castoff even listens to its members unlike ebay and they are willing to add new features as they are requested but of cause these wont be added instantly and will take time but they do listen and act on what we want.
