I've recently been searching the web for crazy deals from new auctions sites. I started going on auctions where you pay for each bid. I never won anything. I finally found an auction site that I've really enjoyed and received some awesome deals. The auction site is Bidtopia.com. For example: I won an Omnimount Echo A3 Echo Component Tower for $5.98. The list cost on Amazon for this item is $249.99. I also won 3 computers with specs: Pentium IV 2.4GHz, 256MB RAM, and 60 GB with no OS for $0.99 cent each. Another item I won was a Guitar Hero World Tour Band Bundle. This item was brand new. No blemishes at all. This item list for $229 and I was able to win it at $14.01.

Great stuff real deals and for the most part pretty easy to use. I still can not figure out how they get it so cheap. Give it a try you will save some serious money. Shipping needs to b cheaper but still a steal

I have ordered from Bidtopia a number of times and never had a problem. I find that the writeups accurately describe the items listed. The prices are great and I've never had a problem with faulty pieces. However, the shipping out of Tenn seems to be a little slow. It usually takes 2 weeks from close of auction to receive.

Bidtopia have a whole new line of items all brand new but they still start their auctions at .99 cents I can not believe all the bargains I do not know how they can afford to sell the stuff at the prices I am paying new ride on kids hot wheel cars for $30.

Great prices, true to auctions format (99 cent with no reserves) Straight forward site and I like that you need to pay a 99 cent fee before you can bid. I find this keeps a lot of the fictitious bidders and children from running things up. However, I find the site is a bit dated and the GUI is rather old school.

How did I not win? Where is my product It was valued at about $150 or so. But the bids started at 99 cents with no minimum as they state, so again where is my product. I had read that this might happen or that often the product is counterfeit so I was hesitant to bid too much. The shipping was $29,95 so I would have paid $45 total for my product. Bidtopia will not be in business for long if this is how they plan to do it!

The prices may be higher on ebay, but I personally have always been satisfied with their service and accountability. Bidtopia's response to the multitude of errors that occurred with my one order was not good enough for me. Now that I am out 1000 dollars, I would like to share this experience with others so no one else makes the same mistake.

In my opinion they need to contact the seller first. If you trust the seller, you may start buying. Otherwise keep them away I feel, Bidtopia in my experience I feel have not helped me as much as they possibly could. Paypal can help you if you pay by Paypal for example... Therefore I do not recommend this online auction site.

This is a true auction site. Everything begins at $.99 cents. Not sure how they do it.

Shipping costs seem high but are really due to fuel sur-charges from package carriers.

Bidtopia is the only alternative to ebay! This is what I see, after following bidtopia's progress:

1) Despite being a fairly new auction site (and working out a few bugs), they have really hit the ground running - look at their sellers...titanium and platinum sellers that came from ebay.

2) FEES! Are you kidding me?! Do a side-to-side comparison with ebay, and tell me who comes out on top. I'll tell you - Bidtopia. ONE Fee.

3) Real Buyers and Sellers. Bidtopia qualifies them, which equals Real Auctions, and no margin for large scale fraud.

Overall, Bidtopia IS what ebay never will be - a REAL auction site. Keep your eyes on them, and start asking for a store concept for small sellers!
