Awful!

Shopped around for best rate for selling on mobile. However, after sending phone off, price I was offered was £10 less than quote. I was told this was due to a crack in casing. My phone was in excellent condition when I sent it, plus instruction book, case and charger. I feel I was completely ripped off, especially as I was told that I would have to pay £5 for return!

I sent an iPhone. After 5 days there were no responses. Hence I contacted M4M. I was asked for the Royal mail tracing number. Once I provided the number, I was told that the package arrived but nothing inside the package. I was given an option to claim some money if I can provide the IMEI number. Unfortunately I didn’t take these details. There was no problem with the communication, but you are responsible for the sale from start to finish. The T&C says the following.

For items over the value of £46 (GBP46) we recommend our consumers use registered insured delivery.

Money4Machines accepts no responsibility for any item prior to physical receipt and after return dispatch. This includes but is not limited to damage in transit and non-receipt.

If things go well you are lucky. If not you will lose everything.

I traded in a Nokia Lumia and an iPhone 4 by filling in the quote form on the website. Really easy to use and no annoying bits like extra surveys or whatever.

I checked a bunch of companies and Money4Machines had the best rates for my phones.

I rang them to check they'd received my quote request about an hour after I finished filling it in - they'd already sent out the free envalopes to my address and were dead nice on the phone :)

I sent off the phones, they tested them and paid me really fast.

All round pleasure to do business with!
