I have used ICEX for a good number of years now and, I must say that, their whole operation has been Excellent! Nothing is too much trouble for them and, the Drivers are very flexible. The Administration team are also very accommodating and freindly.

The reports I receive for the disposal of Equipment is always clear and concise. I would definitely recommend this organisation to other IT Companies.

Like a number of firms transitioning their infrastructure into the modern world of high performance servers and hard disk drives, we found ourselves with quite an inventory of large, heavy and somewhat obsolete equipment that had been accumulating over the past couple of years as a result of significant investment into our IT systems.

It was time to have a tidy-up and get rid of it all so we called on the professionals at Icex, although we had software to erase the contents of hard disk drives to military standards, there’s nothing quite like the reassurance of seeing a disk physically munched and shredded into shards of metal that are totally useless, it ticks the box on secure disposal and risk management.

We were delighted when we found out that we could take advantage of the Icex mobile service, some efficient scheduling and the van arrived a couple of days later, the operators set about their work and four or five hours later there was a wheelie bin full of metal, job accomplished, nice people too.

If you are looking for a Company to recylce your IT equipment or in fact any electronic item then I highly recommend ICEX. The staff are friendly, efficient and quick to respond. They are knowledgeable and offer good advice. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service we received and the efficiency. I was dreading the process of clearing years of redundant electronic items from our site but in the end it couldnt have been easier. I requested a quote for the list of items I knew we needed to dipose of, the detail I gave was basic to say the least and the price was very reasonable. Once given the ok ICEX came the following day to collect it all. The driver was polite and required no help from staff here... all we had to do was sign a consignment note and then about 3 weeks later we received all the documentation we required including a waste transfer note, a full inventory of items and proof of data destruction for the PC's. The invoice was cheaper than expected as some of the items had a residual value. Good news all round! And good to see that if it could be reused it was and if not then it was recycled. Good for supporting our ISO 14001 commitment. Will definitely use them again and would recommend to anyone looking for a cost effective and straight forward way to dispose of their unwanted electronic and IT equipment.

They're lovely people to deal with, work quickly, efficiently, and have a great team who work for and with them collecting the equipment from our offices.

Each time they collect the equipment it was a friendly effective service, courteous too as they rang ahead letting us know when they were close by or if they were going to be slightly delayed.

If there were any queries about an additional item they were quick to sort out the necessary by contacting their headoffice who came back to them quickly with a reply.

If you are looking for a company to recycle all of your redundant IT Equipment,reasonably priced and hassle free then ICEX are the people to use. The level of service was efficient and professional. The fact that they can come on sight with a HDD shredder was a big plus, also being an insurance company with a lot of sensitive data reassured us that everything would be taken care of.

I've have always been able to schedule a collection very quickly, sometimes at a days notice. I have found the contacts in the office and the drivers to be very helpful and friendly.

I'm currently having a bit of an issue trying to get an update on the residual value of our account though. I have been promised the information 3 times now and as yet I have received nothing.
