When I was about 18 years old I was going through a phase in my life where I wanted to explore other options in terms of religion and spirituality. I had grown up as a Lutheran Christian but my heart was never really with the faith so I did a lot of reading and research, and came to realize I really like the old Pagan beliefs. Not long after that I came across this online community called Lake Xeno. It's a forum that's open to all people regardless of beliefs to learn and teach others of their beliefs. It's now 2 later and Lake Xeno has grown and changed a lot since my first visit but I'm still a member of the community. The following are my pros and cons to Lake Xeno.com.

What I liked about Lake Xeno was that it's a free website and open to all. I've been a member for many years and although I don't frequent as much as I use to I drop in from time to time because of the friends I've made on there. The people on there for the most are friendly and open to people of all faiths and beliefs, just like the website is. I liked that Lake Xeno is well maintained and organized, and has administrators that actually do their job and not just exist and let the place go to the dumps. The moderators there do a good job of keep up the website and working smoothly. The website is packed full of all sorts of information from all beliefs, as well as people who are knowledgably in the area and available to help anyone interested, or who have questions.

I also liked that Lake Xeno now has two very distinct and seperate sections. One is for the more willy-nilly fun chat and the other section is for faith/ lifestyle (they support gays) chats. The website is by far the most active website of it's kind that I've ever come across with hundreds of members and dozens of sub-forums.

I would recommend Lake Xeno to anyone who's interested or curious in the occult, different spirituality systems as well as other beliefs. It's provided me with a lot of information and friends over the years, and I hope it would do the same for others.
