Don't Ever Go There
Terrible board. I have had nothing but bad experience with this board. Most of them don't even know what there talking about. If you own a so called dangerous dog breed they will look down on you. One of the member even said that if they said a pit bull on her lawn that she would shoot it for no reason at all. Outrageous. All of the board member are immature. I've directed all my friends away from this board and if your smart stay away.

Waste Of Time
Joined this forum in May and all I can say is that it was the biggest waste of time. Many of the members give good information, but there are a lot more who honestly have no idea what they are talking about. On top of it, as another review mentioned, many members are not the nicest people. What can you expect from an Internet site revolving around a bunch of obsessed and lonely dog owners?

Labrador Forum is a very helpful forum with lots of nice members that were very nice in providing me with information that I needed to train my labrador retriever puppy.
100% agree with you
Labrador-Retriever forum was not helpful to my family by any means. My friend and I joined it when we got our puppies two years ago and we had a lot of issues with it. There was one member in specific who I shall not name, that was constantly rude and obscene. One of my friends who is a vet- recently joined it and mentioned to me this summer- I told her my own experience but asked her to try it out anyways. She did and was also disgusted and completely appalled by the information that was being thrown around on the forum. People who apparently "breed" dogs and offer up awful information to dog owners. On top of that, my friend decided to experiment with the these people to see what all they could and would say. She pretended to be a new member- a new puppy owner. Needless to say, she laughed daily at the disgustingly rude posts that other members had posted back.
Then again, it is an internet site. For people who want to sit and "chat" about their dogs all day- it's perfect. For those actually wanting to do better for their pets and go outside.. don't even waste your time!
