This Is A Scam

Tried to go to the speed dating event in the Abbey which was supposed to be open until 1am. I turned up and the place was closed! Other people were also stranded and waiting outside. These people took money and didn't bother telling anyone that they had cancelled the event. It seems that the event wasn't organised in the first place hence the venue being closed.

I contacted the organiser (Sarah) who was gormless and pretended not to know what happened! I wasn't even given an apology and I do not know what is happening with regard to refunds. I'm suprised they are still allowed to trade.

Adventurous spirit with a love for good conversation and great coffee. When I’m not exploring new hiking trails or trying out new recipes, you’ll find me buried in a good book or planning my next travel adventure. Looking for someone to share laughs, deep talks, and maybe a little spontaneity. Let’s see where this goes.

The Same People Who Stole Loads Of Profiles From T

The same people who stole loads of profiles from the Guradian and were taken to court by the Guardian, where the Guardian won the case, are back. They have simply now set up as www.xfactordatesonline.co.uk - just how are they allowed to do this? These xfactor people have no shame - they really should not be not allowed to run any businesses again. They really should pay back all the money they have taken off people in the past, but instead they will defraud others. Here they are back taking new peoples money - they have no shame or guilt at all.

Run by fraudulent thieves. Manufactured profiles and unauthorised use of details and photos from other sources, esp. Guardian Soulmates. Now changed their web address to xfactordates.com so avoid like the plague. Total scum, lets put a lid on them.

A Scam Indeed! They Sold Many Franchises Throughou

a scam indeed! they sold many franchises throughout the UK, misleading their franchisees that they were buying into a bonafide business opportunity. Now, we find out that the profiles they used were copied directly from the Guardian Soulmates website. So, the profiles have been deleted, Xfactoronlinedating have ceased trading and all the franchisees will never see a penny back. Meanwhile, the directors of the Company will spend our money buying fancy cars and going on fancy holidays, at our expense! these people have basically stole our hard-earned money and benefitting from it, whilst our lives are financially ruined! do these people have no morales at all? how can they bring up their children decently, knowing that they are nothing but low-life conmen?! they are criminals! now, they will merely claim they are bankrupt and transfer their monies to their other companies, which are............xfactordates (speed-dating) website and IFC (sells other franchises). check out their websites...........don't touch these people and do NOT buy a franchise from these people! even if you get a legal guarantee, you won't see a penny back! they'll just continue to open up companies, cease trading and you won't receive any of your investment back...............Buyer beware!

This Site (xfactoronlinedating.com) Is A Scam And

This site (xfactoronlinedating.com) is a scam and has now been proved to be so - apparently they "copied" thousands of profiles from another dating site (Guardian Soulmates) without their permission and without letting the users know. So, in effect all of the gorgeous people out there were real people but they just did not know their profiles had been used, so if you did write to them then they would never even know.

Not surprisingly, The Guardian took them to the High Court and won the case against them (see http://www.xfactoronlinedating.com/notice.php).

Still seems wrong that a site can be run like this when it is so blatantly largely based on a fraud.

Don't touch it or any of their associated sites with a barge pole.

Basically, This Site Appears To Be A Massive Scam.

Basically, this site appears to be a massive scam...

While not subscribed as a paying member you get emailed whenever you receive a message, but you can't see the content of the message OR who sent it. If you finally subscribe, you'll find out why - a large number of two or three word messages are sent from obviously fake, incomplete accounts with no pictures. I got something like 20 in about 5 weeks, while I hadn't been back to the site at all, and no real messages in that time.

Many of the accounts with pictures on there look very fishy as well - for example, one single model-quality picture, with none of the rest of the profile filled out - the site won't let you leave all the boxes blank when signing up, so there's clearly something up there.

Also, I get the impression the "last visited" dates/times in the search results are completely made up - a couple of "last visited in the past week" hits I looked at made reference to things that happened years ago in the profile text! I suppose it's possible that they just haven't been updated in ages, I might be being paranoid, but again, it's a bit fishy.

The userbase here is pretty tiny as well. In summary, I wouldn't waste your money, stick to one of the more well-known sites.
