There are millions of profiles from around the world and a fair few from the UK. Even though I live in a small town, I was pleasantly surprised to see quite a few women not too far from me. I've already gone out for dates with a couple of them, and got on like a house on fire with one of them, so am well chuffed :-)

I signed up (free!) and searched for the criteria that was important to me. I was happy to see lots of singles in my area of London. I've since gone on a date with a couple of blokes and things are going well so far - fingers crossed ;-)

121Love.com Free UK Dating - Not the cheapest and fairly basic.

As with most dating sites, it is free to become a member of 121Love.com and search the profiles. Many of them have pictures. There are chatrooms to have live conversations with potential dates and also lots of dating tips. Because it is a global company, 121Love.com have a huge number of advertisers from almost every country in the world. As with other dating sites, you have to become a member to use the more advanced features such as the live video chat and writing to other members.

The reason I joined 121Love.com is because, despite it being a professionally-run site, the charges are a lot less than Match.com and most of the others. I paid £50 for a six month membership, which gives me unlimited use of the site. A one month membership works out to be more expensive - £13 - so it's better to sign up for a longer period of time. Excellent customer support - all my emails were answered within 6 hours!
