Love this chat site. Lots of friendly people, no pervs or nasty trolls.

If you are looking for friendly welcoming people and chat i would recomend this site, specially people who are just looking for friendly chat and to have a giggle.

A fairly new site, Tobbel is steadily increasing its membership and is becoming very popular with (mostly older)people who enjoy a chat and a laugh. The chat rooms are monitored even though there is hardly ever any need for the mods to intervene. It's a friendly site, where everyone is encouraged to join in. The forums cover a wide variety of topics, the weekly quizzes are enjoyable, as are the organised themed chats that are held from time to time. The site is easy to use; there is a good section explaining FAQs and the admin team are very helpful.

The best thing for Tobbel users is that any troublemakers and fake identities are quickly sorted out, leaving the rest of the users to enjoy the site.

Unlike some other sites, Tobbel welcomes people who also use other chat sites. It's well worth a visit! Oh, and it's free!

Plenty of nice people on this site. I love to join in the quiz and read the forums, adding my views. I often pop on for a chat too, there isn't a problem with trouble makers, as all seem to go there to just enjoy a good old chat. Well done to the originators of Tobbel.

I was invited to join Tobbel by friends from another chat site and I'm so glad I did. Being a bit technically challenged, Tobbel is very easy to use and there's loads of help available from the Staff who are very friendly and helpful. Unlike other sites, there is no nastiness or arguing, everyone is genuinely friendly and happy to chat. All new people are welcomed warmly and I often end up laughing my head off at some of the conversations we have. There is a very caring feel about Tobbel, we can talk about anything, just silly chat or serious matters and often help eachother if feeling worried or low. I love the activities; quizzes, discussions, competitions and games and we get useful reminders of upcoming events without being swamped by lots of notifications. Most people are over 40 but anyone can join and are welcomed. It's a fairly small site but numbers seem to be growing slowly as word gets around. I pop in most days and there's always someone to chat to or an interesting topic to read and comment on in the forums. Well done for creating Tobbel!

I have used a few chatrooms over the years but this is by far the best I have encountered. Helpful,friendly and approachable staff with immediate reaction to any questions or problems and a lot of nice people to chat with from all over the world. Even though it is mostly aimed at an audience over 40 they welcome younger people too and include them in their chats. Troublemakers or fakes have no chance there.

Chatrooms and forum are easy to use and I have seen a lot of interesting topics there and gave my views on quite a few too.

There is a quiz every week and a discussion night with topics of interest to everybody, both are hosted by members of the site, also various games on forum again put up by members.

Members have a say on that site, staff actually encourage members to take part and give suggestions and ideas. It is still a small site and I hope it will grow and remain what it is now, a friendly site where people like to go and "hang out".
