I was a member of this site from 1999- then rejoined in 2001 sometime, It was a Fairly good site to start with, They had chatrooms, page moderator, chat hostess and a lot of other badges that you could aim for. It was always a really good place to make friends.Then when it hit the year 2006/2007/2008 the place fell apart in my opinion, Over a lot of the oldest members had left abandoning the place, Then half the helpers left, The place just went downhill from there.Then the helpers totally abandoned the place as far as I am aware, and now it Offcially closed, a few people knew it was closing, things do happen.

It's really fun to talk to other girls from all over Great Britain. It has been broken for over a week and no-one has been contacted about it in it any way and the helpers had left us for a month before it broke.. well recommend Girland.com.

Girland has recently had many new updates which have made the site much better than before. I've always loved being a member of girland but never as much as now.

Shopping Mall - with lots of areas where you can buy clothes for your character

Tattoo parlour - where you can stylise your character with funky designs

You can even download a tool called liveswif. which is a free download and then you can design your own items using the online manual for instructions. WIth a bit of practice you can get great results.

Having been a member at Girland for several years I have seen a lot of changes in that time. However, GirLand is now at its best. The staff are going mad with updates and have fixed everything on the site that had bugs in the past. There is so much to do! Some of the new things are:

HTML editior - so you can have funky layouts/profiles/webpages without knowing any html! - which is great because I dont!

I hope that if your between the ages of 8-25 you will give the site a try, it has something for all ages and such a fun and friendly atmosphere. Although the site is aimed mainly at girls there is a few boy members and I'm sure boys would find they have lots to do on the site too!

Girland is a fun site for teens. The only problem is that it's a chat room. Many parents are uncomfortable with that. Many people, great stores, and easy ways of trading.

Girland is a site that welcomes girls (and boys) of all ages to meet up and have some fun, and in a friendly environment. The site has an impressive array of activities, that range from problem pages where members can ask and give advice, to poetry pages, where members can create and get voted on original poetry creations.

The site has an original points and badge system, which helps members aspire for different badges, which can be earned by using credits to composing music. The points system allows avatars in the form of precious stones and "planetary" symbols which show your status on the site.

There is a virtual world where members can create their own characters, and they can also have a virtual boyfriend or girlfriend. They can also create clothes and accessories for both with a free, safe and downloadable program.

Girland is a friendly, interesting, educational, and above all fun website. I've enjoyed my time immensely on it, and as a Guardian for the site, it just marks how far I've come. Online friendships with members from all over the world will be made on here.

It's a site that's definitely worth a click.
