They are terrible. I ordered stuff from them. They gave me my invoice. When I got charges on my credit card it wasn't correct. Then a week later they charged me again, because they didn't charge me enough. Now over 2 months later they realized that they didn't charge me tax and took my charge card and charged me again with out my approval. Don't buy from them. They just keep charging you when every they want. They can't even charge you the correct amount the first time. Who knows I might get charged again in 2 months or even 10 months since they have my credit card number.

ordered 6 beer mugs for my groomsmen. 2 were spelled incorrectly from what i submitted online. 2 others were broken (could have been shippers fault). They did replace the damaged and misspelled ones, although barely in time for the bachelor party. Also sent cosmetic bag for bridesmaid with wrong name and too wrong address. This item was NOT received in time for the bachelorette party. We ordered an aisle runner, took longer than advertised online to be delivered and their excuse was they had not updated their website to the longer time. When we received the personalized $120 runner, it looked like cheap toilet paper! Some of the other small thank you gifts were perfect and customer service was apologetic, it just took about 20 phone calls (and lots of stress) in the month before the wedding. The best part of this website is the free wedding website. If it wasn't for the bad customization of products and poor communication, I would have rated this company higher.

If no stars was an option that's were my rating would be. Favors to arrive after the wedding and customer service could have cared less. This mother was one of thousands who order on line and they couldn't be bothered. There wasn't even a manager to speak with. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!

I bought sale items from The Knot that they never shipped, and never told me that they were cancelled! I had to rush to find disposable cameras with 20 days left before my wedding. I never got an updated invoice from them, and when I asked, they sent me a dollar amount in my email that wasn't the same as what they charged me - and still no invoice! The response by customer service was "oh yeah, we cancelled the item, and we don't send a notice. thanks!"TheKnot.com is the only wedding vendor I've worked with that actually stressed me out, and for what they are supposed to be, I'm terribly disappointed. I copy/pasted their checklist into a word document, and my Budget Planner is Excel. If they can't get my invoice correct, why would I want them to work out my budget???There is no benefit that outweighs poor service. I will not use theknot anymore.

The Knot pretty much has it all - BUT - there is so much information that searching through the thousands of pages to find what you need can be exhausting and stressful. I don't need a list of 500 local caterers to sort through, I just want a manageable list of the area's best. I don't need 25 articles on invitations - just give me the basics in 2 or 3 steps. The site is completely cluttered with links, ads, images etc. that it's difficult to narrow in on the information you're looking for.

The Knot www.theknot.com is helpful but could include more areas for interaction between readers. It is very comprehensive in the topics that are available and lists tons of resources, advice, articles, etc.

The knot is a great community for gathering inspiration and ideas for your wedding. Beyond that, there are forums to find brides that are real and getting married in the same months and years as you. You can go to specialized forums for things such as writing your own vows to etiquette questions. If that's not enough, there are plenty of tools such as budgeting help, checklists, and guest organization. You can look over member bios for more ideas on top of the countless photos on the site.
