I wanted to sell my restaurant and did approach local estate agents but their fees were too high. contacted goodbuy, and they told me that selling a business with them will include 12 months on their website and 12 months in their national newspaper... £149!

didn't know too much about goodbuy, so took a week to think about it.. eventually thought lets give it a try after seeing the actual paper.

after 2 months, my restaurant was sold!!

quite pleased with the whole thing to be honest...because I had many enquires and then I knew I could get the price very close to my asking price.

So I would definitely recommend...

1 thing maybe would be good to note is to tell the sales rep that you will only agree to try them, if the advert in the newspaper is on the front cover or the back cover... That was the only way I agreed to advertise with them, and they agreed quite easily. So I guess that newspaper advert had a big part to play in selling my business.

great looking site - easy to use. just needs more ads. I would recommend they do marketing to generate more ads on the site.

I visit goodbuy quite often - like it mainly because it's free and easy to use. worth looking at if you want to search for free ads.
