Used this site recently, lots of good jobs and simple to navigate. Brilliant for mobile device job searching on the tablet and iphone

I would recommend UK Staff Search

First all other sites I'm forced to register with will accept pdf. Trying to register and forced to put in details of my skills etc, so I do that and it says not valid, so I put in random text to just get registered so I can apply for a job, but no does not accept that, so in the end I just pasted my cv in to get past this.

then they email you your password in plain text, big security issue there. plus automatically subscribe you to numerous emails which I don't want, and no easy way to delete my account.

I wish the industry would change, all I want to do is apply for a job not have to go through all this everytime

I sent my resume to the company and they sent me completly unsuitable jobs for my skills. I highly doubt they even read my resume.

I had a phone call from a telemarketer on my mobile. I requested they tell me where they got my phone number. The got it from UK Staff Search. Just a heads up for those who do not want anymore nuisance calls.

Let's face it, ALL job boards do not want phone calls from job seekers. Don't believe me? Try finding a phone number on all the big players for help using the site!!

Anyway, I am pleased to say that UK Staff Search have bucked the trend and offer full support for all jobseekers now. After calling this week I was at last able to work out how to use a job site and what actually happens to my CV when I apply for jobs.

There were several jobs i wanted to apply for but the registration process was made virtually impossible by the user unfriendliness of the website.

The site will only accept Word 2010 formatted CV's which i had but once uploaded it ripped my CV apart and made it a complete mess

I tried manually altering it only to be told it was too large - gave up after 2 hours. There are much more user friendly job sites to use

I used this website recently to upload my new CV and got alerts sent by email for IT jobs. Applied for a few jobs and actually start a new one next week so can safely say this is a great site for job hunters!

I'd never heard of UK Staff Search before finding it online, which is why I wanted to write a review. All of the job sites reviews online are for the same sites over and over that people already know about, but UK Staff Search has probably just as many jobs and is really easy to use. Like with most job sites, you have to register first but once I had it was really easy to find relevant jobs and apply for them. I move jobs quite a lot because I usually look for temporary assignments and I consider UK Staff Search to be one of my regular job sites now. Just wanted to even up the job site reviews a bit!
