BEWARE -- First of all the the service is VERY POOR. Webiste doesn't offer what it promises.

I sent them an email within 72 hours to cancel the account, and still didn't cancel the account, and charged me for 30 dollars for two months. I called the customer service, and the CS is very rude and insisted that there is some disclaimer in the terms that I have to telephone them to cancel them.

I wouldn't recommend this website. They will try to make money by not cancelling your membership.

Hound.com charged my card without my permission. They sent me an email offering me a complimentary membership but you could only get the membership by putting your credit card information in. They have been charging my card for three months and will not credit my account or cancel the membership. DO NOT JOIN THIS SITE.

Ripoff! No jobs came up within basic search criteria, even after 3 weeks. Would not refund money even though I called to complain about lack of results. No such thing as 100% satisfaction guarantee.

You have to pay for this site, but it's not worth it. The job are no different than on free sites. And it's really hard to cancel. They also increase the fees each month.

Hound.com is easy to get on but hard to get off. They offer a seven day free trial but you cannot cancel on a weekend as you can only cancel by phone and their hours are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, PST. I had difficulty searching the site on how to end the free trial. When I finally found the information it was on a Saturday and is could not call till the next business day. When I got hold of a support person they said too bad and that I would be billed for a month. I did not find anything on this site that I could not find on the free job sites. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

They need to clearly state their terms of the free trial and make it easy to end.

Hound is very good. It really is a great help to those who want to search Jobs. I had wonderful experience searching jobs with this site. It satisfies every type of need related to Job Search. It has huge database and the most recent Jobs posted.

It is with deep gratitude I say, Hound, created by Harrison Barnes in 2007, helped me out of the rubble.I hail from a marketing background and have only one year experience in the retail sector to speak about. Due to the downturn, the place where I was working in got shut down. I had to remain unemployed for many weeks. Due to low experience in the field, I was not short listed for any of the jobs which were posted on Monster and Career Builder and my desperation grew day by day. I lost confidence in myself. My parents were worried for me, but the situation was worsening day by day, and all I was hearing about were about layoffs in the retail sector. I came to know about Hound.com through a friend who was unemployed like me but had read about Harrison Barnes and his achievements in a periodical. He landed a job through the site and told me to apply to the site too. Initially, I was apprehensive about shelling money for membership for a job search engine (as they say), but because my friend was successful in landing a job in downtown Ohio, I relented. What happened next changed my life altogether.I applied to the site and was astounded to find a Google-like interface for searching jobs. I was all the more caught unawares by the number of results that came up. More than 100 results came up related to my field and I was stumped to find that they were all active. It then occurred to me that because Hound does not charge its employers, all of them are more than happy to post jobs on the site. Job seekers like me get to browse exclusive jobs "all unadvertised listings " because none of them featured in any other job board that I know. That was indeed a masterstroke by Harrison BarnesI eventually got a 4 great job options to choose from, and I finalized on the most lucrative one. My dad was elated, my mom was emotional. After all those days, this was not expected. I definitely recommend Hound services for those who are seriously lurching in their career. There are many better avenues which one might not know, but thanks to Hound and Harrison Barnes, those secretive job listings are now in the open.
