Facebook & Google Advertising

This company call business's and encourage you to advertise your business online quoting lots of statistics.

I've paid over £2,000 and not had one enquiry through my website with an enquiry.

I checked online and they had not even advertised my company.

Do Not Trust This Company

This company has consistently ignored my clear instructions to them over the last year. When challenged

they make up stories alleging fictitious phone calls and emails to justify their actions.Never pay by credit

or debit cards as they are likely to make unauthorised withdrawals,as happened to me.To call them a

bunch of cowboys would be flattering them.

Answer It - Do Not Use This Company. T

ANSWER IT - do NOT use this company.

They are a bunch of sales sharks. Cold callers even if you are registered with TPS as I am. Got a cold call from them re: Facebook advertising. Four months later I am still being bombarded with phone calls and emails, despite having told them time and time again to cancel. Very cleverly written emails - read carefully - saying "your cancellation request has been disregarded in accordance with your agreement to continue." I never agreed to continue and in fact told them several times to cancel my account.

They are rude, they harrass you, they do not listen to cancellation requests. There is a handy forum about them here too:

http://whatconsumer.co.uk/forum/other-goods-services/6118-lavora-marketing-google-ads-rant-warning-2.html

Apparently used to be called Lavora and got done by Trading Standards.

Stay away people! Please!

(Had to give one star as wouldn't let me do zero)

Stay Away From This Company, You May As Well Throw

Stay away from this company, you may as well throw your money away...

I signed up for a month package at £199 they said they could exceed the results I was currently getting on FB......they absolutely cannot.....

They only stick to the minimum impressions on FB during the month, although you are promised a lot more....you can far exceed what they offer using Facebook direct, for much less.

They are rude and a bunch of cowboys....when you explain you are unhappy how the campaign is going they offer you free weeks of impressions which is just what you should have been getting anyway in your package price...

Have just had similar problems with this company. I dont believe they are even running my advert, asked for proof they said they couldnt give me it. I only took it out two weeks ago, quality, customer service, and the web link was a total joke. Two lines and one had spelling mistakes in. I complained, wouldnt refund. I contacted actionfraud and consumer direct. very helpful. Anyone else out there having problems, make sure you cancel your credit or debit card, download a draft letter from consumer direct and send your complaints and cancellation by recorded delivery, they cant say they didnt receive it then. but make sure its within the trial period. Im making it my mission in life to report them to every official organisatin i can think of and write as many reviews about them as i can. They shouldnt be able to get away with ripping people off. THEY ARE TOTAL DISGRACE. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THESE COWBOYS

Got A Call From Answer It Group Who Talked The Tal

Got a call from Answer IT Group who talked the talk perfectly so I took a months worth of Facebook advertising at £99 + VAT.

Should have known there was problems ahead when they debited my account twice before they even started!

Unfortunately when it came down to it they just did not deliver on any scale and then had the cheek to tell me that I'd have to take an extra two months before I would see my advert working!

Do yourself a favor if they call, just say NO as they really proved to me that their not very good at what they claim to be fantastic at.

I actually feel embarrassed giving them any stars, there should be a zero option for outfits like this.

I Don't Usually Find The Time To Write Reviews Abo

I don't usually find the time to write reviews about my experiences but after nearly 30 minutes on the phone with this company, I think it's worth sharing.

I think this company have called before, but I shut them down very quickly telling them that they weren't offering anything that I couldn't do myself for free. For some inane reason, this time, I let the lady talk on a little longer as I was intrigued as to what exactly they think they are offering unsuspecting victims. In 30 minutes, I learnt a lot, and not very much at all. Things I was told:

- for a mere £299.95 a month (!), they can give me maximum exposure on Facebook for my business (no quantification of numbers)

- they sell specific 'allocations' ("we work exclusively with only one client from each sector", yeah sure), so that you are ahead of your competitors

- you are not tied into long contracts (just a short frigging expensive one)

What you get for your money:

- some login service where you can see your ad, how many impressions and click-throughs you get (available for free via the Facebook Ads UI)

- the ability to pause your campaign at any time (also available directly via Facebook ads)

- unlimited click-throughs (a standard if you are going for Impressions based ads)

After a large amount of scepticism on my part (who the hell are you, how do I know that you're any good, what other clients do you have who can prove your success rate, how do I know that anything you're telling me is true),

she told me that she could offer me a special discount of £199 instead of £299. After being bullied into opening a browser and going to their website - I saw that they were charging £199 anyway. (Although apparently that was for a 'regional' ad and not a 'national' ad). I told her that if she was really that confident of their services (oh yes apparently they have a 95% retention rate for clients), she could afford to give me a month trial for free. No go on that one (would I be confident to give away my products for free she asked? yes of course I would, I replied)

Anyway, after I saw the reviews on this site I shut down the conversation and she hung up. They are very persuasive and good at hard selling at this company. I was told that I had to spend £35 a day to get the same equivalent of exposure that they were offering to me at the bargain price of £10 a day. Which of course, if was genuine, isn't necessarily a bad spend. On the other hand,if they really were that great, they wouldn't need to tie customers in for even a month. The beauty of Facebook Ads, if you do it on your own is that you can set a daily budget and turn it on and off at will whenever you like and tune all the costs to your own satisfaction. Don't pay someone else this much money to do something you could do yourself with very little time.

We are having a similar experience with this company. We have reported them to trading standards and if enough people complain about them, some action will be taken against them. If you can't get out of their contract, write a letter to head office and mention the unfair contracts act 1977. Apparantly they used to be called LAVORA and were closed down by trading standards

I Agree, Trying To Look For A Website To Complain

I agree, trying to look for a website to complain to their management as they were so rude on the phone when I said thank you for your time and said I am not interested the sales man on the phone was very very rude!

What An Absolute Bunch Of Jokers!! The Team Behind

What an absolute bunch of jokers!! The team behind this 'so called company' are complete tools, they clearly don't have a clue when it comes to advertising and they're suggesting you could have a permanent advert with Facebook from £199/month.

They're trying to catch out people who don't know how Facebook ads work, stay away from this company they're truly sh*t!
