My child has taken part in their year 5 course and got a place in a grammar school. The course is quite tough but it is designed to get your child fully prepared. We received full support and my child learnt a lot even if he had not got into a grammar school, the centre has taught him motivation and self discipline. Now he is at grammar school and I dont have to push him to study. I felt we got value for money; The course fees are very reasonable and probably works out to be about £25 per hour; but you don't pay any extra for books, their platform, mocks and you get lots of extra tuition and support.

We also took part in their mock exams, which we felt were very good practice and extremely helpful as he did not get good marks at first, but then he took a few more mocks and improved . They give you a very useful detailed report and their exams are challenging like the real thing. Their knowledge and expertise is what makes them the leaders in the 11 plus field.

A good tuition centre for the preparation of 11 plus exams. The staff are very friendly. Lots of study material and support is provided.

I have to totally disagree with an earlier 1 star review on 24 January 2010 by a Guest as I cannot believe that anyone who is genuinely entering their child for the 11 plus would consider the site to be to be a money making machine or that the owners of the site have no interest in helping pupils. This is the opposite of my own experience and I can only assume that this extreme comment must be made by a jealous competitor. Any genuine parent will know the amount of stress you have to go through with the 11 plus and getting helpful guidance means everything. I obtained extremely useful advice by email and by phone from the owners of the site.

Books - My son's tutor orders all her course material from this website predcisely as she can get is cheaper then normal book suppliers.

I was given a list of books to buy by my tutor and I would have paid alot by going to other sites or a local book shop. Unlike other sites this is a specialist 11 plus stockists so i was able to buy everything i needed in one order and got next day delivery which was free as my order was over £50. I thus saved money this way. Plus if i had gone to the shops its unlikely they would have everything available. Later one when i needed more material I tried a few shops and they were always out of stock of something or other especially during peak season, or they only had some of the most popular books which i had already bought.

I found that you can go through quite alot of material and its very useful when time is precious leading up to the exams to have a place why you know you can get more papers fast, especially the downloadable ones.

11 plus software - this was a downloadable software in verbal reasoning and maths that I bought. It gave intensive practice and was extremely beneficial in improving my son's already high scores.

11 plus forum - the moderators on this forum seem to know more than my own tutors. If the forum contained useless advice as suggested by Guest reviewer it wouldn't have the largest membership. I noticed that many parents who used the site during their child's 11 plus exams, out of loyalty to the site have continued to be members offering guidance to others which i think is really nice. I regularly posted on the forum and found many of the moderators to be extremely knowledgeable.

You need to be going through the 11 plus when visiting the site to appreciate its valuable content, advice, products and support it offers.

There also around at least 60 papers and revision sheets that you can download all for free.

The website is excellent for preparing yourself and children for the emotional highs and lows of the 11 plus. I have been through the process three times and each time my child was successful. Even where your child fails there is plenty of advice and experiences of what to do next.

I will still visit the site even though all my children have completed the 11 plus to share what worked for me which may help others.

great website. Bought some of the software which was useful. The forum is excellent with lots of good advice. You can ask for help and get speedy answers from other parents. The appeals part of the forum is outstanding with experts who give free advice to parents. Hopefully I won't need to make use of that for my son, who sits his test later this year.

A truly wonderful and one stop site for any parent with children sitting the 11 Plus exam. It was a godsend to find the site. A vast amount of free information and links are given. They have gone to a lot of effort to collate information for parents and to offer guidance, and they have done their research. The prices are cheaper than WHS, with fast next day delivery, and free on some orders. The active forum has a number of specialist knowledgeable advisers, who gave a lot of advice and information that is not available anywhere else.

They offer information about local tuition services, but it is chosen specifically to benefit themselves. They advertise tutors on their site that have very poor teaching methods, and also tend to have a vested interest in a percentage of the money you spend.
