The service manager confirmed it is a common fault with 3-4 year Porsche hitting 30-40k miles. I then researched on internet to my amazement found many incidents around the world. How can a 90k car engine last 40k miles without responsibility and no contribution to cost of new engine. Be careful as what is your dream car could turn into expensive nightmare.
