This company got me excluded from google because they did a whole load of bad SEO unrelated to my company! Do not use them,

We've had the misfortune of dealing with numerous SEO companies over last 7 or 8 years. As SEO has got tougher the results have got worse. Having enough of the sharks out there I took a referral from a business associate who had worked with SEO Vantage in the past. Refreshingly they were honest! They couldn't offer any guarantees or pay when they get results services. Taking a monthly package option, on a limited budget results have been slower than expected, but progress is being made. I was expecting more, but it appears hard to deliver. We’ll give them another couple of months then decide. Doing what they said they would, but not as quickly as we want.

I'm with them for nearly 3 years and there were ups and downs with them. To start with they were using forums, blogs commenting, articles, directories etc... but later on they included new link building methods which helped to maintain my website positions.

This lot are incredible ditto previous comments this company promote White hat SEO, they are forum spammers blog spammers everything Google hates.

they have ruined my website with exact match keywords ect and now they are ignoring my emails letters and phone calls but with any luck i will get my money back used purchased on credit card, utilising section 75 on consumer credit act. Companies like this should be exposed and shut down. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

I have also been approached by various SEO companies selling their cleaning up bad back link profile service, and some SEO companies refused the work and said the best thing i could do was start a new site.

I've been with them for pay for result campaign about a year ago and they did a decent job with the rankings out of 2 keywords 5 keywords started to rank on the first page. But I told those were not the keywords I wanted to rank then they put me on a monthly campaign without taking the balance money which I liked as a paying client. I'm not 100% satisfied with the progress but they are doing a decent job to keep the rankings compared to other seo agencies.

i had the unfortunate experience of being stupid enough to use seo vantage for seo services. I paid multiples thousands of pounds over a course of a several months and in return saw no results, when I questioned the work that was being done. They sent me a "fake" report that was identical to one they sent me 3 months earler, so in a nutshell, they build a few links, and then kept billing me and doing no work whatsoever.

I NEVER EVER ranked in the top 10 pages of google, they simply never were able to achieve any ranking positiion at all. there were no interim results let alone long standing rankings from the campaign, i was left with a large balance of money spent and nothing to show in return for it.

they refuse to offer any goodwill or compensation for the complete failure of the campaign.

if you are reading this i can promise you hand on heart, PLEASE PLEASE do NEVER consider using seo vantage. you will gaurenteed regret it, you WILL be left throwing money in return for a few artificial reports. I PROMISE you, PLEASE do yourself a favour and look at someone else.

Oh the other thing, they do not operate in the UK, all the work and even the reps who take your business are not in the UK, they use VOIP, and that gives them no accountability or responsibility to exploiting customers in the UK.

If you are insane enough to use them, do yourself a favour, pay with a credit card, least if they mess up you can do a chargeback, DO NOT pay with using your bank transfer, you will never get your money back if the campaign doesnt give you any results, which it wont, if you are looking to throw money away you should go and use thier services.

I can also state for the record, I am not a "competitor" seo company, I am a genuine paying customer of seo vantage, who was treated extremley badly, I didnt have false expecatations either, some EXPECT page 1, i would have been satisifed with Page 3 ranking on any of my phrases, they were aware of this too, i told them if you can suceed with even page 3 i will be happy. they couldnt get anywhere near close. the icing on the cake was that google stopped ranking our site all together for the key phrases seo vantage were working on. which leads me to think there are potentially flaky seo practises going on at this firm if google would pull those phrases alltogether.

if your campaign was a failure and you are a UK customer, go through small claims court and get your money back. they have no right to blame "google" for the failure of the seo work that THEY are contracted to carry out, if they cant delivery they should return your money, it will be hard work getting it back, but this company should not be in business.

Go look for a seo company that is COMPLETLY uk based and that wont do a runner with your money.

i pray that seo vantage stop making other customers victims of thier terrible seo campaigns and unprofessional business practises.

Be very careful to what you are promised.

What we were promised:Top Google rankings and increased business.

What was achieved: Poor rankings(most struggled to reach page ten)I can quite honestly say (No sales). And one massive bill at the end of the campaign.

Watch out for the key words given and the amount of keywords given. The more spurious key words given the easier they will reach page one positioning. Stick to the one main item you want to sell. e.g. if you are trying to sell boot liners. the term 'boot liners' will struggle to compete with the competitors to reach page one. But if you put in 'boot liners for dogs' and 'dogs for boot liners' as was suggested by Seo Vantage then you will reach page one and Seo Vantage are one away from charging you £2,842. And that's exactly what Seo Vantage did with me. All other keywords struggled and only twice were 3 of my keywords in page one which dropped off from week to week.

Don't get me wrong I wanted this to work and generate much needed sales in this difficult business environment. The only time you heard from the support was to say that three key words had reached page one(just) and the accounts office chasing you for money. So to say that after all the broken promises I felt disappointed enough to write this so BE WARNED in this case you do not get what you pay for..

I'm a flippa power marketer. i always build & resell blogs,forums via flippa. actually i bought their G-boost-II package for my weight loss niche niche blog, i received my report 2 days delay but they are doing really great job, excellent detailed submission report.

These guys messed up my website, they signed me for 9 months and dragged me for another extra 6 months. But they never achieved my positions. complaining about google updates and my site. I'd never recommend anyone to think twice before hiring these jokers.
