Avoid this company at all costs.
Spent £12000 with this company and got nothing for it. When asked questions as to what they were doing I just got back vague answers and constant avoiding of any direct answers to direct questions. At the start of the process it was all very slick and professional looking. That did not last for long once the payment had been made.
The only good thing to come out of my association with the Web Marketing Group is a realisation of how stupid I was for falling for their sales pitch. How could I have done that ? I will never know.
Hopefully they will get their comeuppance before to long. If there is a company that deserves to go to the wall it is this one.

You can judge by the amount of unsolicited garbage these people inflict upon the Internet that their business ethics are highly questionable.

Avoid At All Costs - They 'build' Links By Buying Them
We used The WebMarketing Group (WMG) for a period of 9 months from May 2012. Although initially the results were promising, in April this year we received a warning from Google about the quality of our links. In the latest Penguin update we were awarded a penalty. On closer inspection of the links built by WMG they had all been paid for. The sites the links were 'built' from all advertised links for sale which is contravenes all of Googles guidelines. We have now spent 4 months getting these removed which makes the £20,000 we spent with WMG a complete waste of money. Avoid at all costs and find an agency that understands SEO rather than buying blackhat links.
We considered using this outfit, but when we made it clear that we were not interested in entrusting them with our pay-per-click marketing, they immediately lost interest. In my view they are the worst of a bad bunch.
Couldn't agree with you more, had exactly the same experience! We used this company for SEO for two years and spent £20,000, dropped down in the rankings, given no advice, penalised by Google and could see nothing for the money we paid!
