Marketingdrips (http://www.marketingdrips.com) has been a total nightmare to work with. Initially we had a good deal on an email database which included extra information as well as sending emails out through them.

However, as soon as we paid them the money to Marketingdrips it went downhill. Firstly we agreed with Marketingdrips for certain information this has never been delivered even though they have promised time and time again to deliver this information. Basically I think they never had it in the first place and just got us to pay up front which we should never have done.

Marketing Drips were paid to send emails out not one email was sent when it timed even though they had said it had gone it went 2 to 3 days later and then had terrible results.

Then Marketingdrips had a 68% and 72% delivered rate on the first and second emails! This was a 32% or 28% bounce rate. They said this was standard however would replace some of the data so on the third email we sent it rose to 82% which was better. We have requested this new data they replaced again and again and never had it delivered even though they said they would give it to us.

Then we took the bull by the horns and started to email the database with our email system we had a 34% bounce rate but more worrying was that we had companies emailing back saying the people we were emailing were not there with two responses saying the people had left 20 years ago and one saying that the office /company we were emailing had not been around for 10 years.

I have tried on numerous occasions to get in contact with the company but they have ignored my emails and phone calls for the requests for the data we paid for / updated data.

For those thinking of using this company please be wary as I even spoke to someone (referral) who said they were good.

However I had an email response from them saying that we had received lower quality set of data due to us negotiating a lower unit cost! I asked them why were we not told that in the initial stages that because the cost was so low we got a lower quality set of data. Why would we purchase a set of data that would be poor?

We have now given up with them but wanted to give anyone out there some feedback on our service which has been terrible on the data quality and customer service fronts.
