A Failed Company

i've used them for a decade, and this past 2 years have been the worst. They simply fail to deliver their forwarding / distribution service, and they do so without notice. Only your senders tell you after you've missed receiving important business mail. Furthermore, their once available telephone numbers are disconnected; they're hidden, anonymous, and only occassionally respond to their 'contact us' help online, and then usually with a useless hominy. There's no meaningful way to obtain two way communication ..odd for a 'commuication company ..Bigfoot Communication. They don't offer telephone, chat, or email address support. Too bad there isn't a rating less than one star.

Big Joke Big Foot

I was going to wait and wait before putting in a bad review, in the hope that such a simple basis service could be restored to how it once was (reliable!).

But I guess after 5+ years its time to accept this is a complete waste of time. Bigfoot is dead, and shuffled off etc. Totally unreliable and I have refused to upgrade to the paid service because I can see its NO BETTER, so no point.

When it was working, sporadically, the email server IP addresses are on SPAM block lists, so most receiving inboxes just block.

Maybe they are the victim of early success, but they have wasted the loyalty they had, and advocates like me have turned against them (many just left).

They totally deserve all the above bad reviews.

Avoid.

Best To Avoid!!! I Signed Up With Them

BEST TO AVOID!!!

I signed up with them back in the late 90s, when things were pretty basic. It seems to be a good idea at the time to have a permanent email address when ISPs were unreliable and had to switch ISPs every now and then.

I must say, initially the service was good. Like anything else, all good things come to an end. Due to he increasing number of subscribers, they have decided to charge for their service, and that was where things started to go wrong. Nothing wrong with charging for providing a service however, in their case the service got worse despite charging people for it!!

In short by signing up, you;

1. get frequent email delays sometimes up to couple of weeks!

2. get your email lost every now and then

3. get constant spams from different spammers direct to your actual email address (I have only given bigfoot my actual address and get spam direct. Couple of other different addresses I had had the same problem)

4. cannot access the customers service frequently as they switch it off with 'server maintenance' excuse

If you go by their paid service, things don't improve either. Moreover, for the price they are trying to charge, you might as well get your own domain name with forwarders, which will work out a lot cheaper and above all reliable!

So if you're thinking of signing up, even for their free service, you get more inconvenience and hassle. Stay clear!!

too true. I am the same. Signed up years ago - was fine for a while, then the past 3 years have been a disaster. Its been a complete pain having to drop my 'lifetime' email. I'll keep it running but it just never works these days so what's the point. Avoid.

My Experience Is Identical To First Reviewer. In

my experience is identical to first reviewer. In using them for years, they go down frequently and when they do they don't even respond. Takes weeks without any forwarded email until magically it appears fixed. When working, its erratic, delayed, and totally inadequate and unreliable. They have no address, no phone number, no identifiable business, no people with names except mythical Heather. Its amazing its lasted at all. STAY AWAY

Absolute Rubbish, Stay Away From This Provider, Ma

Absolute rubbish, stay away from this provider, mails servers are always down, spam protection is a joke.

To give you an example of how bad Bigfoot are their servers are usually down at weekends, this happens 3 out of every 4 weekends.

Also their customer service is a complete joke, they never respond to any specific emails, they send out standard foboff emails which never answer your questions.
