I Would Like To Share Some Info About A Nice Tool

I would like to share some info about a nice tool I was able to find online. The tool is an flv converter that is needed for converting various video formats to flv.

Flv is pretty popular nowadays, you can stream it online and share the video with other users, embed it on the sites. Flash video takes less space on your computer so storing videos in flv made sense to me and that probably was the reason I needed a tool like that. Pretty much why I started to search for the converter on the Internet.

The flv video converter I use now is called CS Flv converter. "CS" stands for Coding Staff, a company that developed the converter I'm using. The converter has basically met all my requirements as a regular user that's why I like it.

Firstly, it's really simple. It does what is has to do without a bunch of unnecessary functions. You just have to choose the video or videos you want to convert and click the start button. It's possible to convert one file individually or a bunch of files at once. By the way, the file conversion was really fast: it took the application literally 2 seconds to convert one file of about 2mb.

Secondly, it supports quite a lot of video formats. I won't say all, but almost all of them: mpg, avi, mp4, mov, wmv and mpeg. And these are the most popular formats, I believe.

Before I came across CS Flv converter, I have downloaded a few other ones to try. So what turned me off is a bunch of ads and "special offers" type of info this converter doesn't have. This program is no spam, doesn't contain spyware or, as I said, ads, which is a feature a lot will like, I reckon.

What I was looking from the start, was a free application. CS Flv converter is a free tool as well. It's not a trial version, it's genuinely free. What I wasn't too fond of is a watermark over the converted video. I soon figured the watermark is only featured in a free version. So I purchased a paid version which only costs $10 and now enjoy the converter without the watermark thing.

Among other things worth noting is that the application is lightweight and compact. Meaning it doesn't take a lot of space on the computer and doesn't slow down other applications when working.

It seems what I have found here is a nice simple - meaning user friendly and effective - tool to convert my video collection to flv. I would recommend the converter to everyone to try. The free version is available on Coding Staff site. The list of features is not huge, but I have a feeling guys from Coding Staff will be working on them in future, if not already. I wish they were, so I could write another review!
