I Signed Up For 2dvds And It Went Quite Smoothly.

I signed up for 2DVDs and it went quite smoothly. Even though I live in a remote part of Scotland I still enjoyed a four day turnaround. The problem started when my wife sent a case back without the DVD. It took four weeks for them to finally say send it back in a blank case. In the meantime I was paying for 2DVDs but only getting 1. Responses to my numerous emails took about a week. I understand why they don't show a telephone number. I threatened cancellation at the beginning of my next month and the DVDs stopped altogether.

Not a very good outfit. Very "back of a transit van" like.

Customer Service Staff Are Very Pleasant, But They

Customer service staff are very pleasant, but they seemed unable to suggest reasons why DVD's weren't forthcoming. The service used to be good, but the service has deteriorated since Spring 2006.

I was paying a monthly amount for unlimited DVD's (up to three at a time), and there were periods when I was 'awaiting allocation' for days on end.

I Signed Up With Screen Select Online Dvd Rental F

I signed up with Screen Select online DVD rental for the "free tenner" promotion, but a month after signing up I still haven't received my tenner.

Initially, the Screen Select DVD rental service was good with fast turnaround. On the 3 disc service I got 6 discs a week with a personal selection list of over 300 titles.

However, I wouldn't recommend this service now as the service has slowed right down. They can barely manage to send 3 discs a week. As soon as they drop below 3 discs a week I'll be reducing my subscription and looking at alternatives.

Quick Turnaround No Problems With Receiving Or Sen

Quick turnaround no problems with receiving or sending back DVD's

One went missing in the post when sending back but this caused no problems.

Good if you are not too desperate to watch new releases or can cope with the occasional unwatchable DVD.

I Joined Screen Select Online Dvd Rental Through D

I joined Screen Select online DVD rental through dvd.co.uk. The offer was a free DVD voucher to the value of £20 when I joined. After 28 days and no voucher I sent an email. I got a response saying that they would check with their promotions department.

Another week passed and I emailed again, and they said they hadn't had a response from their promotions department (how big do you think they are that it takes a week to get a response?). I sent another email telling them they had no intention of sending.

I got a reply about 2 weeks later saying when I joined I didn't add 10 titles to my list, and so I wasn't entitled to the offer. That wasn't stated in the offer, and they won't ship out your DVD's until you have 10 titles in your list.

When I First Joined A Couple Of Years Ago The Serv

When I first joined a couple of years ago the service was amazing - very fast - very helpful - they would order titles I requested if they didn't have them in their catalogue. The speed of dispatch has become slower and slower. Customer services have been reduced to sending the nearest stock response that fits the bill. I can find no phone number on their website. They have been taken over / merged several times since I have been with them, and the quality of the product has suffered each time. I see they have now joined forces with Love Film. I am now searching for an alternative to Screen Select, and I thought I would share my experiences.

After A Month, The Screen Select Online Dvd Rental

After a month, the Screen Select online DVD rental service has slowed down a great deal. What is really annoying is that the complaints department is computer generated, and there are no customer relations. Despite the 38 DVD's I have selected, I would only receive DVD's (when they do eventually send them) at the bottom of my priority list. I think it's back to the local Blockbuster and choosing the DVD I would like to watch on that day.

Screen Select Online Dvd Rental Was Good In First

Screen Select online DVD rental was good in first month or so, but when we changed to 3 DVD's a month instead of 1, the service really slowed down, and all complaints are dealt by a computer generator. Every time I've complained I have received a message saying someone will contact me within 24 hours, but it has never happened yet. I've never heard anything back. This is customer service at its worst. I posted back two DVD's on a Friday, and I still haven't received anything the following Monday! That's 10 days!! It is not worth the £14.99 I'm paying! I am not impressed.

I am a current subscriber, and when I am at the bank opens tomorrow, I'm cancelling my payments.

No Real Complaints About Screen Select. They Send

No real complaints about Screen Select. They send most of our discs out same day and provide top titles regularly. Cant ask for much more than that as 15 quid a month is by no means expensive when the old bricks and mortar down the road wants almost 4 quid for 1 night rental of a new release. Im a light user. Customer service alright-ish; sent me a dvd with no case or barcode, inevitably when I mailed it back with covering note it ended up lost in their warehouse. Sorted out in the end after a week of phone calls unreplied to emails and a premature demand for 20 pounds replacement, with an email from them explaining it was all my fault in the first place. But thats the reality of customer noservice in the UK at the moment.

Heavier users complain their service is throtted, but as a light user I dont really want to subsidise some guy to sit in his bedroom all day ripping dvds to his hard drive so I dont care.
