Absolute Rubbish. I Was With Them For Quite A Time
Absolute rubbish. I Was with them for quite a time and they were unable to provide anywhere near the amount of dvds that I had on my list. Company had a couldnt care less attitude and, when I cancelled over the phone (bearing in mind they frown upon this), they kindly started leaning on me heavily and tried to add costs to what they thought I should pay them. I would never, ever use this company again. I dont know if any other video companies are any good but I do know they could not be any worse than this outfit.
THANK GOD
ITS CLOSED DOWN!!!!!

My Movie Stream Are The Worst Rental Company Ever!
My Movie Stream are the Worst rental company ever! I joined for a 3 month trial only to discover that they took money from my account during the free trial without my permission, also never got any dvds sent and had to keep chasing them in order to get some sent, they never answer the phone, and the staff are rude and abusive when they talk to you. After the trial was cancelled and the only way I could do this was by cancelling my card as they never get back to you, 6 months on they have still been trying to take money from my account without telling me. Do not Use these companys they are the same firm with different names and they are conmen! BEWARE!!!!!!!

I joined over a year ago, received no discs and they charged on months rental during a trail period. I cancelled, or so I thought and thought I would just cut my loses on one months rental as it was a nightmare contacting the company. Over a year on I have had a letter from a Court stating that a Bailiff is going to attend my property and remove my vehicle in respect of payment - unless I paid 165.00 plus costs. I do not recommend www.mymoviestream.co.uk
I Joined My Moviestream Over 18 Months Ago, And Th
I joined My Moviestream over 18 months ago, and they were reliable with a pretty good service. Three to four months ago, the discs dried up, and I was getting two to three a month - this is for a 12.99 two discs at a time service that used to provide around 10 to 12 discs a month.
I complained via email and asked for an explanation for the terrible service I had started receiving. I got a reply that tried to say that it was my fault for having too many new releases in my list and that I should try to broaden my movie viewing horizons by adding more older (classic?) movies to my list - I have umpteen channels on Virgin TV that can provide that. I have always had newer releases in my list, but this only appeared to be a problem for them in the last few months.
If it was my fault, I have rectified that by leaving them and I am going to give Blockbuster a shot.
I Signed Up To A Free Trial Period Only To Be Char
I signed up to a free trial period only to be charged, during the so called free trial period I had trouble getting any dvds from them, and when I discovered they had charged my account when they shouldnt have I phoned them which was a saga getting through to them but when I finally did they were abusive and screamed down the phone at me telling me I was the one in the wrong to complain about the lack of service! They are the most abusive comapny ever! So I have been paying for a service that was never given and after I complained they closed my account and took money direct from my account without asking or informing me first. So I've paid up front for rental I'm never going to get.
They Incourage People To Open An Account By Offeri
They incourage people to open an account by offering free cinema tickets which they will never get! I spent several phone calls and e-mails just to hear the same excuse... "There has been a slight delay in despacthing the tickets for reasons beyond our control" It's now 3 months! Called that a slight delay! Therefore I do not recommend My Moviestream.
Everything, I Only Seemed To Get Old Films Sent To
Everything, I only seemed to get old films sent to me. They took three monthly payemnts from my debit card within 1 week leaving me with no money. I e-mailed them and didnt 3 weeks ago and still havent had a responce after sending a further 6 e-mails. I tried calling the customer service number but was repeatedly told that they are busy and I never actually reached anyone. Therefore I do not recommend My Moviestream.co.uk for an online DVD Rental service.
I Signed Up With Mymoviestream Though Thesunmoviec
I signed up with Mymoviestream though Thesunmovieclub who sent me an email offer for a 2 month free trial, i've been with lovefilm and blockbusters before on free trials and continued using these on £12.99 normal services for many months after, so I thought i'd take the 2 month trial Thesunmovieclub were offering on behalf of Mymoviestream.
It wasn't until I started building my dvd list that i realised something wasn't quite right, out of the 20 films in my list, the majority of them were new titles, (as this is why you watch DVDS because you have never seen them before). However, the account kept saying (out of 20 films) only 4 were available and the two films were the old films I'd seen 100 times before but put them on the list to make the numbers up. So I continued regardless and suprise suprise, the two discs that arrived in the post were the old titles. I then rang the customer service dept who basically said, as I'm on a free trial, I'm not entitled to new films, the paying customers get the priority (WHAT! The whole point of a free trial is to tempt people to signing up, not doing a good job in my eyes).
So I sent the two old films back, cleared my movie list on the account and waited a good 10 days before I started to cancel my account, thinking the DVDS were back with them, I went through the process and the t&c's stating that if all DVDS are not returned back within 7 days, then they will charge me £30 for the disc. I thought, no problem I sent them back 10 or 11 days ago. How wrong I was, they are now stating that I still have one disc remaining at home, which I don't agree is the case, as I posted them both back at the same time.
I'm now in a position, where I signed up for a two month free trial, realised the service was poor and expensive, tried to cancel and this has not been resolved yet.
They have my card details and will most probably debit it for £30, for the lost disc. The story goes on...

A Word Of Warning - Don't Subscribe To A Monthly P
A word of warning - don't subscribe to a monthly payment service with a debit card as you have very little protection if the service goes wrong as far as I am aware - use direct debit or a credit card for better protection. Mymoviestream (now called outnow) started great with a free trial period and free cinama tickets. Unfortunately they took ages to send the cinema tickets through despite having promised them to me on a number of occasions. In recent weeks they have not been turning discs around as quickly as they said and I have had to chase them on a number of occasions. I was told that it is due to my list not being extensive enough despite that fact that I have followed their original advice by having at least 25 to 30 discs in the list and generally no more than 30% of them new releases. Having raised yet another complaint I was treated pretty poorly I feel when I suggested that they ought to compensate the poor service by offering a period free service. When it works it's great.. As I've paid by debit card I'm stuck with them for another month as I can't get my most recent payment refunded.
