SoundSauce is a website designed for Artists to upload they music for others to listen too. Where it differs from myspace is, it focuses on getting your music to as many people as possible. Artist music can be embedded on any website, fans can build their own players and embedded them anywhere as well. Fans receive notifications about artists they follow. If you are a facebook, or twitter fan feeds are linked into these as well.

The music is pretty much unsigned artists, so it's a mixed bag, but it's great to support your local mates in a band.
