Many free features without having to subscribe. Great for musicians - unlimited upload space at 128 bitrate. Great community and plenty of good music. I've been on several music sites and this one is by far the best so far. The admins are on the ball and efficient in solving any problems. The community is friendly and interactive. There's a nice mix of all styles of music and for the member or artist there is an abundance of free features and page control.

Soundclick was established over a decade ago by the Canli brothers. Head Office in New York. According to Alexa details the listener and user figures way outrank any other similar MP3 sites, although are still dwarfed by MySpace as far as I am aware.
Free User Accounts allow unlimited upload of Songs from musicians and artists, as long as Original Material or Approved Copyright Material is used. Public Domain also in the case of Classics. 'VIP' Accounts which are $9.95 at the time of this review offer highly advanced ad-free website, and much higher bitrate of MP3s. Also greater MB per song allowed. The Site constructions, both Free and VIP are quite outstandingly excellent.
Another superb feature of Soundclick is the ability to paste Flash Players of Artist's' Music, Chart Positions, Banners etc. on remote websites. Deep linking is also available in Player of User's Choice on VIP Accounts. Soundclick offer free MP3 Sales to all Artistes with a reasonable commission and administration charge, although buyers have to purchase a 'minimum spend' Voucher, so individual MP3s are not for purchase as 'singles'.
The Soundclick Forum which appears to be used by a miniscule fraction of Members, both Listener and Bands Accounts, is poor in my opinion. In my opinion the threads have a lot of bad language, with innuendo I am not happy with etc. In particular the arguments between Hip Hop and Beats Producers is mindless as far as I am concerned. Serious Technical Issues are however responded to by the Soundclick Proprietors.
Anyone browsing the Charts and listening to 'Top Ten' tunes in many Genres would imagine that other listeners were either tone deaf or crazy, as over half the Top Ten tracks surveyed in many Genres are quite simply poor in my opinion. Simple Answer: The Charts are blatantly User manipulated? The Star Rating system is also abused by Members 'downrating' each other's performances in my opinion. If you search in the lower regions of Charts, then some outstanding performers can be found and added to User 'Stations'.
To summarise though, for any Musician wishing to have a reasonably reliable music delivery service on Internet, then Soundclick probably is the best available. Just be prepared to find someone who bought a cheap plastic keyboard a month ago in a higher ranking than a world famous Concert Pianist as I feel I have. Maybe this is because the latter is busy practicing 8 hours a day rather than clicking away at a computer!
