The site features an interesting set of articles that artist and author Eric Edelman has written about the inspirations for collage, as well as its origins, history, techniques, and aesthetics. He also wrote a collection of articles about masters of collage.

Edelman also posts original artwork which are sort of wild and colorful fantasies. I haven't seen much like it elsewhere. His own style of collage depends upon the use of wood engravings and other material from the 19th and early 20th centuries, so many of his blog posts describe the appearance of these materials and their use in collage.

A rotating "gallery" of Edelman's work serves as a link to his RetroCollage store site, where one can buy reproductions on canvas or paper of many of his collages.
