I Love My Bank!

I have been with LloydsTSB for many years. I have recently had dealings with other banks and cannot believe the difference. The staff at lloyds are just so much more friendly both on the phone and in branch.

Letter To Advise Me I Was Overdrawn, Charged For.

Letter to advise me I was overdrawn, charged for. That increased the

the amount I was overdrawn, so charged more and another letter sent

and charged for.

Told by phone bank I could apply for a consolidation loan, Application

processed and rejected. Result, rejection recorded on credit reference agency

database. Misleading in formation, as I was told "You qualify".

There really is too much to say here but suffice to say a change was in order

so after 23 years I removed all my business and would urge others to do the same.

Banking with Lloyds has cost a fortune, even before the banking crisis.

I pity the poor souls that are stuck in the Lloyds money trap.

Have been a Lloyds TSB customer for 15 years. Have had and paid off two loans in full, never missing a payment, never missed a credit card payment, my current account has never been in unauthorised overdraft. They were shoving this loan top-up at me for the last 2 months, really persistent, so I said OK, quote me. They came back with an APR of 23%! I was utterly insulted and really hacked off that they so wasted my time. Then, they shoved up my interest rate on my credit card, to store card levels. What a cheek. So, I now figure that they are just creaming people to try to pay back government loans, and I am now going to shift all my accounts to a non-nationalised bank, and I would suggest you look elsewhere for more competitive interest rates on loans if this is the kind of rate you are offered. Do not accept their bull about "looking carefully at the overall picture", it is not you, it is them. There are far better deals out there.
