Horrendous Customer Service

Do not buy from this company! I purchased 5 gate remotes as advertised on ebay and received one .Upon querying the location of the remaining 4 remotes, I was astounded by the horrific spew of insults that came in form of a response. The advertisement and delivery note stated 5 remotes for the price specified. However their customer advisor stated rudely that I was not receiving the other four, due to the amount I had paid. To clarify I paid the full amount asked for 5 remotes on eBay. They have falsely advertised 5 remotes and have only supplied one. The abuse and falsehood I received over messages would put a seller to shame. They have told blatant lies about me phoning them which is not true. They have now removed the post but are refusing to supply the remotes and are refusing to fix the issue which could have been easily resolved.

Faulty Towers Customer Service

Do you know what it’s worth ringing this guy just to find out how bad it is! It’s that bad it makes you laugh!

can literally picture this as a scene from faulty towers, this has to be a joke of company for sure!

Rang for a bit of help to point me in the right direction and a problem with a garage door with hope of buying the parts required!

didn’t even get this far he was so rude it was unbelievable! The conversation went……. “gave him my name and said I’ve got a customer who has a really old concrete pulley system garage door” he stopped me short and said what make is the door……. Then went into a massive rant about how he’s been doing this for 25 years and I was wasting his time! I hadn’t even spoken at this point after my opening sentence! I challenged him when he had finished to say I’m asking for help to identify the door so I can order the correct parts…….. he simply just hung up was left gobsmacked!

don’t think he will last another 2 years if he keeps this level of customer service up! With all social media and reviews it won’t take long for it to catch up with him!

Seriously though it is worth ringing him just to listen to his customer service, again can only be described as a comedy sketch, if nothing else it will pee him off with the phone constantly ringing ????????????????

Don't Even Bother!

I placed an order on their website and I had the cheek to ring 3 days (5/10 13.30) later to check the progress of my order so I could arrange a date to repair my clients garage door,on the seventh attempt they answered the phone & that's when the fun started , nowhere does it say say on their website that if you ring us we'll treat you like a nuisance, take an aggressive tone with you and then put the phone down on you, leaving you with a still unanswered query and causing me an issue with my customer absolutely shocking. Don't take my word for it check the other reviews! -

Terrible Attitude

pleased to see website, about to place an order and phoned to check something and within minutes he says "You're not listening" and slams the phone down. This guy is seriously out of order. I don't take kindly to bullies.

Fantastic Service - Fast Delivery - Very Helpful

Thank you for a very easy transaction of our garage door parts, our door has been broken for months. I was daunted on having to repair it, but after speaking to GDS and looking at their instructions the repair was made very easy... We now have a fully working garage door... my wife is now very happy.

Worst customer services I have recieved from anyone ever. Rude rude rude person. Avoid at all costs

I quite agree, I also had the misfortune to use this company. I ordered spares on-line, only to be sent the incorrect parts, which I managed to use. When I phoned for advice, he told me abruptly he was busy & to phone back, which I tried to do, but he ignored my calls, so I phoned on my moblie, which he answered, when I asked why he had ignored my calls, he went balastic, his language was unprintable, he then started to insult me. He obviously is out of control. You have been warned.

Very Good And Useful

managed to get a 30 year old garage door working again for £28 all in. Parts arrived the next day and it took 30 minutes to get it as good as new. It took longer to order the parts. Only criticism is the part images could be a lot bigger and slide shows would help. Also boms could be listed with images. But that's just a minor quibble

Serious Attitude Problem

Wish I read the reviews on here before I purchased as I would have taken my business elsewhere. This guy sends me two defective cones which have a deformity in the plastic meaning they don't fit. When I rang him to ask him about it he rudely replied "well knock it out with a screwdriver then" before hanging up, clearly annoyed that I had the audacity to ring him when after sales advice appears to be his USP on his website. After ten minutes filing them down they just about fit. Avoid

And just to top it off, the replacement rollers are rubbish as well. The groove on them pulls the cable too far inwards so when closing the garage door part of the cable will catch on the edge of the door. There's no way of adjusting them any further outwards. No point contacting the seller as questioning his product will no doubt be a 'hanging up' offence which appears to be his typical modus operandi

Rude And Unhelpful

Was ready to order a number of spares but wanted to check a few points on the website. I checked a coupe of points and before I could ask the real question or placing an order the chap became irritable, basically told me he gets no-one but idiots calling and then hung up.

Granted its the holidays but if you don't want calls don't leave your number on the website and/or don't pick it up and let it go to answering machine!

I like to support small businesses but this chap has an attitude not suitable for customer services.
