This game is a total waste of time! Stay clear from it. They lure people in by offering "free play", but to progress in the game and be good at it you need to buy premium accounts. Get's VERY expensive if you are an addictive gamer. I've been playing it on and off for a few years, and I try different strategies to play in hopes that it wouldn't cost money out of pocket...It's pointless, And now with the new Flag system..it's a total disadvantage for those that do not have a lot of money. Rich players can simply buy their way to the top.

Also, the game moderators can give out harsh punishments to you if you accidentally break the rules. simple example of one rule that is over looked. If you account sit for another player and send out resources to another player that is a breach of the rules...It seems silly, but in the end it costs you "the customer' MONEY!

BOTTOM LINE.....STAY AWAY!

Tribal wars suffers as a game in that it requires the player to log on at different (and often exact) times of the day. This means that anyone who has a life in the real world, eg Job, relationship, children, hobby or perhaps goes on holiday is not going to do well at this.

On the good side there are interesting people to meet and certainly relationships that can build outside the game. You can play for free, there are a number of different rulesets on different servers.

On the downside playing after a couple of weeks in the free version (resticted map size and order queue) is frustrating and makes the game difficult to oversee. The amount of backbiting is equal to the social plusses.

The game has a strangely addictive quality, especially since once you have committed time and energy to it it IS difficult to stop. I played just short of 6 months.

On balance this one is a 'do not'. (value for money is XXX because it IS relatively cheap to play)

Been playing Tribalwars on and off for about 3 years. Do people cheat? yes there are many that have multiaccounts in a server. From my experience if your a paid premium member you can get away with anything! In the past I have reported many multi account players and only those that where premium players did NOT get banned! As many posters have said before, the admin/mods do not uphold the rules very well at all! Be also aware of advertising bots in game now trying to promote various things. And finally should you decide to play, trust no one. You can get back stabbed at any given time.

As for joining a tribe, Hopefully you will find a good one. Many are poorly run and usually from a full tribe it's only ever a 1/4 to half of the members that are active or will help you.

Personally I'd rather just play a Sid Meiers game, less Drama.

This game is awesome. I recommend you play this game. I am a player on World 12 and I cant get enough. 2 years I have been playing and no end in sight.

Tribalwars is very good but has a few things that could be improved. For example the game play. If you attack a other village it doesn't let you see as much as the attacked person. You should be able to get 1 person back letting you know that your whole army died. Other then this the game is very good. You can capture small villages like barbarian villages and expend your resources. The best thing is when you join a Tribe and they are expanding and helping you out with resources. It can help you build a good army and be save from attacks.

In Conclusion i would say it is a good game and has a lot of opptions. Graphics are not bad and maybe could get better if you would be able to see your army walk over the map. Have fun. Peace!

Tribalwars is a very good game. Players have lots of control.

i think tribalwars is great! very addictive but if you want, it's easy to get out of the addiction. if you have not played before, you may want to do at least 3-4 worlds(2-3 at a time) with you joining other people's tribes and getting used to it. after you become experienced and get at least 100,000 points on 1 world with full farms from troops in at least 8 of them, you should start trying to make your own tribe in other worlds. remember though: never have more than 4 worlds at once. 4 is already pushing it a little. if you need help or have a question about in game things or rules and if you can do "this" without getting in trouble then when you're logged into a world, click settings at the top, and on the page it brings up, click support request.

Defense in Tribalwars is a joke. You cant properly defend yourself and once attacked you have no hope of ever getting to a point of defending yourself again.

You waste your time building up a village just to have someone nearby attack you repeatedly to make you delete.

If you start late you have no hope of catching up at all due to repeated attacks at your resources.

All the interactions within the game have left in angry due to the immature crowd this game seems to attract.

If you like wasting your time to lose everything without a thought play this game. or if you enjoy being verbally harassed by immature players that the admins do nothing about.

I think Tribalwars is the best game. It is well planned, organized, and its very addictive. When I first started out in world 11, I got addicted within minutes. I love the premium acct. its easier to do everything.

i have played Tribalwars for over 17 months,i loved it at one time until i ran into the cheating game mods.yea,the ones that enforce the rules,they dont allow them to play on the same world they mod on but that doesnt stop the rampant cheating and information passing between worlds.no need playing this game,its a waste of the last year and a half.
