I have played this game for a short while now, and although they have recently implemented subscription fees, they are more than worth it. It takes a little getting used to but the guys on the forum are very helpful and will get you up and running if you ask.

If you play it frequently for a week or so you will be addicted for years!

For those of you fed up with the sanitized mass-market atmosphere of Hattrick, Amfa Manager offers a much more intimate environment for the wannabe football manager. The gameplay is fairly simple, setting up tactics and playing matches is a breeze. Finding the best players is the tricky bit, and for my money the most fun part.

There are issues with goalkeepers being better than they should be, and some players giving away multiple own-goals, which the developers need to address, but overall, the game runs well and reaching the top is a worthy challenge indeed.

Most of the managers are active on the forum and on first name terms, and it is a good friendly place to be. I would certainly recommend this game as a good change from the other more polished but less fun online manager games out there.

I find it has taken up my social life as I found myself keep logging in to find the best new youngster from some random country.

Seriously I will never leave my keyboard at one point. However well recommend AMFA Manager.

I stumbled upon AMFA Manager through a search engine registered and started playing instantly. Wow what a game the frills of football management and you get to play other people online as well as computer opponenets.

Easy to use and understand with very helpful members at answer any questions you have or bits you don't understand. After losing me to the game my girlfriend joined too. A girl and a football game? But she loves it, what more can I say. If you like football management games you'll love this.

AMFA Manager does remind me of an early version of Championship Manager I. It's got realism and is easy to play, there's a forum for people to converse and help where needed. I can't see any downsides to this game. It's free come try it! People are really friendly too. Also the human vs human matches are what makes the game for me! It's more like a battle :)

The AMFA Manager online game is like an old version of Championship Manager. There is so much to it, that I can't explain it all here.

You can have a good laugh with the other managers in a bunch of competitive leagues. Come and have a go at earning your stripes!!

Leagues are set out much the same as in real life starting with a non-league

AMFA Manageris very much like the Sigames version of Championship Manager however it's a multiplayer game, all the admins are of great help and always try to accomplish manager requests to make the site better. I currently manage Solid Soldiers FC on it and its amazing.

AMFA Manager reminds me of the classic Championship Manager games (97/98 version). It has the combination of the simplicity and realism that made those games so popular, but it is playable against other people across the internet.

Matches are arranged by the managers, and this really adds to the game. You can miss a few days and still be part of the game, and when you are online, you can really make use of that time.

Players can play for free in the Non-League structure, or purchase a team in the Professional leagues, where this team can earn them money.

Either way AMFA Manager offers the player an addictive,and engrossing world, in which to ply their trade as an online football manager.
