Anomalies with the auto-renewal meant that domains I had owned for many years were being billed at more than twice the current rate. Just one phone call to customer support and they identified the reason, apologised for the fault in their system which had led to this, set my account right and credit my renewals with the overpayments.
Hopefully they will address the reason within their system so that others won't suffer the same problem, and it's 4 stars rather than 5 because it should never have happened in the first place (though it's also partly my fault for not querying the price previously). But they got me sorted, so fair's fair.
