I noticed the difference approx 2 days after installation, showers felt better,no need for anymore limescale remover,taps stay shiny (less cleaning) dont use rinse aid in our dishwasher anymore,or comfort in our washing machine, have only noticed one downside to having a water softener our bath towels are too soft after being washed, i prefer them (rough feeling) have now put our first lot of salt in, 5 weeks after installation, so glad we bought one.
