Was looking forward to my new water softener which was installed on 13th July, only a few days after the salesman had been to check out the installation space and explain my machine options. I would need to replace the salt bars every 3 or 4 werks, instead of every 5 months with my present softener. But today I opened the door to the boiler room and salt was leaking over the top of the unit. I called up the Company and the salesman turned up very quickly. He spent a while in the boiler room and came out and said he'd sprayed the machine znd things should improve. He toid me that he had warned me that the room was hot and should be "maintained and the temperature regulated regularly"! No such such conversation took place (as confirmed today by a friend who was with me at the time of inspection). He then said that he hadn't been in the flat long enough to tell that it was so hot! Anyway, he's taken away the machine (he wanted me to wait a couple of weeks to see if the spray had worked even though he told us it wouldn't be permanent and the room/machine needed permanent maintenance! That is not what I signed up for and certainly not what I have had to deal with over the 34 years we have had water softeners! I walked away because I didn't want to get annoyed and he rudely asked my friend if I was going to

talk to him! He's now wanting to charge me to take away the machine (even though I have paid for an installation which was wasted), He seemed pleasant enough initially but as things didn't go as planned, he soon changed.

Contacted Capital Softener very helpful chose a model which they recommend agreed the price and time of fitting they fitted at the time and price agreed leaving no mess and a very neat job. Would recommend this Company

I previously had a Softener that used salt granules but I often did no use it because the salt bags were heavy and the water was not a lot different.

I made enquiries of Capital softeners for the block salt Softeners and they gave me a good quote. The installation was completed with politeness, quickly and efficiently. the design of the new softener is much better and more user friendly.

Since then I have been much happier with the softness of my water and the ease with which I can renew the blocks of salt.

Had a Harveys Water Softener installed in our new-build home. The initial survey was comprehensive, accurate and fully explanatory. A short 'delivery' time and the installation was then completed in a morning. The fitters were polite, efficient and tidy, and the softener has been trouble-free and we are seeing the benefit of softened water in this very hard water area.

The Harveys softener fits under the kitchen sink, taking up less space than one cupboard.

Excellent site survey (and not at all pushy sales-wise) and once we'd decided on which model we wanted, fitting took place within a week. Fitters were very efficient - all done in a couple of hours with minimal disruption.

We can already see an improvement in our children's eczema!

He took the time to discuss the different option but he knew exactly what i needed but still took the time to explain the pros and cons. 30 minutes after he left I called their offive and again the lady that answered the phine was so nice and made me feel that they value my business and I accepted the qoute- I normally do get 2 qoutes to compare but this time I thought no need because I got the best family owned business who I knew will look after me even after installation

Installation day came and it was done so good that you wont noticed that someone has come and done anything except by looking at my brand new Kinetico under my sink
