Never buy a Hague product!! Does the product work good yes, but pray that it does not break. I bought my house 3 months old and the original owner installed the unit and used it as a selling point. The resin tank failed and the cost to get a new tank is the same as a regular water softener unit. The company does not stand behind there product, they write in technicalities so they do not have to warranty there products. Save you money and buy a system for $1000 and don't waist your money on a Hague Watermax!

The warranty on the WaterMax clearly states that it’s only valid for the original owner. There’s no company that can place a 25 year warranty on any product for customers that are not the original owner. That’s unfortunate that your system quit working after three months as my system has worked flawlessly for 12 years. I can also speak from personal experience that if you purchase a system that only costs $1,000 then your buying a piece of junk made in China and you’ll be replacing it every 3-5 years.
