Guest's review of Brasher Hillmaster

★☆☆☆☆

“very poor quality”

Written on: 19/06/2019

I bought these boots thinking that the stitching included the entire sole. Wrong! the two layers of the sole are glued. Three days on the Pennine Way in wet weather had the layers parting company and my feet were sodden. This was the first time they had been given tough terrain.

Absolutely agree with this review. Do not buy Brasher CountryMaster Boots if you actually intend to use them for walking on the Hills in wet weather for more than a few very brief occasional annual trips. The cushion layer above the Vibram soles break down after no more than a couple of hundred miles of use. I had a pair replaced but the second pair have done exactly the same. Still arguing with the retailer who try to deny there is anything wrong with them. Very disappointing.
