I've Had This Kiiro Ca128s Mp3 Player For About A
I've had this Kiiro CA128S Mp3 player for about a year now and it really has served me well. - It's by far the most portable audio player around and given it's matchbox size it is able to hold up to around 30 songs at 128kbps. After installing the software it is simply recognised as an additional drive on your PC and transferring music back and forth is effortless. (No tedious, drawn out procedures just simply drag and drop files). It's also quick as a flash. - On average it takes less than 10 secs to transfer a 4 min song across. (At 128kbps). The voice recording facility is great fun and surprisingly good quality. However, despite all this and the fact that it gives crystal clear sound, the player is a bit lacking in 'oomph' as far as the volume is concerned. Even when it's playing at max volume, my mates' minidisc player completely overpowers it. (And his volume setting is only on medium!). I often use my CA128S on the bus and find that other noises drown out what I'm listening to, although I rarely turn the volume up above halfway so as not to put a strain on the battery.
Having said that though, it is fine listening to it in the comfort of your own home, free from other noise. (Which effectively defies the point of having a 'portable' player). :(
Another set back is the battery life. The player requires 1xAAA size battery which will only last a few hours when the volume is fairly low. As a result I soon resorted to using a rechargeable Ni-Mh battery instead of an alkaline one. This helps by another couple of hours or so, but it seems like a lot of effort to go to just to listen to some bloody music.
Still, like I said it's a really fine bit of kit and unlike other people I found the supplied headphones very comfortable and good quality. (Although I prefer my sony ones because the bass response is noticeably stronger and they just look better).
The last flaw is a minor one but nevertheless it's still annoying. - There's no backlit LCD. After all, that's surely the last thing you want when you're innocently walking down a dark alley at night listening to some Limp Bizkit.
Overall, this is a very cool Mp3 player which is so small and light you'll forget it's even in your pocket. - And if you don't want it there it also comes with a neck strap, which personally I think is a bit of a joke. You may want to wear it as 'digital jewellery' though.

I Got This Mp3 Player Because It Was So Small, And
I got this mp3 player because it was so small, and I didn't want to carry a lumpy CD player around with me. So I got this as it was exceptionally small and had good memory for its price. It was great for about 6-7 months, but then the earphone jack started to cut out sound to the right earphone. I keep all of my things in pristine condition, and this was no exeption, so I was quite disappointed. However, I got it replaced and it is still a great piece of kit.
However, there are a few bad points about it. The equaliser for rock, pop etc is not particularly good, even with very good earphones. The sound quality is really not very good, mainly due to the equaliser. To try and solve this i raised the quality of my songs from 128kbps to 192kbps. This took up so much space that the mp3 player would only fit about 25 songs on. It is a shame, because it seems now as if it is a very expensive CD, and the memory cannot be expanded.
Even though, there are many good points about it, and it was well worth the money, even if after a period of time the memory seems to be too small. It is small and very lightweight, and has many neat functions, not forgetting the microphone.
Basically, if you want small size, portability and amazing value for money, go for this. If you want more memory and clear, high quality sound, go for something bigger.

I Got This Mp3 At The End Of Last Year And I Luv I
I got this mp3 at the end of last year and i luv it! I originally planned to get an MD player but i thought since i'm constantly on the computer i might as well get an mp3 player.
What makes it so good...
-------------------------
The cool thing about this is its VERY compact, it hardly weighs anything! We all know that style counts (at least a little bit) and this thing definetly has it.
Memory
-------
It has 128MB of memory which is quite alot, other mp3 players have either 32MB of 64MB so this is at the top end of the spectrum.
Transfering files
------------------
Once you've got the driver installed all you have to do is plug it up to your computer via the USB cable. Two folders will open (usually names Removable drives 'E: and F:), you just drag and drop MP3 files into these folders.
Use it as storage space
------------------------
You can store other file types onto this mp3 player, its like a portable hard drive except you can play mp3 files you transfer onto the mp3 player on it.
Audio Quality
--------------
I'm actually listening to my Kiiro MP3 player right now and there's only one word to decribe the sound quality, crystal clear (well, i guess that counts as two words...). The bass is excellent, especially songs with a heavy beat to them. There are 5 preset equalizers to choose from (Normal, rock, pop, classic, jazz). These work really well and you can hear the sound difference when changed.
Menu feature
-------------
When you press a special button a Menu appears, even while your listening to music. Here you can change the Equalizer, Repeat function (Repeat1, RepeatALL, Normal, Random which is just Shuffle), Automatic off period (1min, 2min, 5min). The mp3 player turns its self off after a period off time only when it is inactive. There is also a 'DEL' function. Read below to find out more.
Voice Recorder
---------------
While the mp3 player is inactive (not playing music) if you QUICKLY press the MENU button the voice recording feature will appear. Here you can record anything you want, important lectures, notes or just record private conversation while pretending to listen to music (not recomended, just jokin...). The 'DEL' function in the Menu lets you delete what voice files you want. These are merely numbered in order or recording. But if you connect your mp3 player to the pc you can drag and drop the voice files (.wav files) from your player, lets just say for safe keeping...
Extra info
-----------
This mp3 player doesn't have a backlight but who really needs one anyway? Definetly recommended! This mp3 player is the coolest little audio pumping player...

Like Other Buyers, I Went For This Kiiro Ca-128s P
Like other buyers, I went for this kiiro ca-128s portable mp3 player because of it's tiny size and great memory - the price is fantastic as well. Bought a set of sennheiser headphones to go with it and bearing in mind the size, the sound quality is fab. Only problem is that sometimes when your battery runs out, the player freezes on the "Power On" screen and you have to reformat to use it again. Maybe this is just a faulty one but reading other reviews, looks like other people have had the same problem

I've Had This Kiiro Ca-128s Portable Mp3 Player Fo
I've had this Kiiro ca-128s portable MP3 player for about 3 weeks now, I bought it (99 quid from a retailer on Ebay) to use in the gym as a normal walkman or cd player would look ridiculous, so i wanted something unobtrusive. I bought this after looking at all the alternatives on offer and it seemed to be everything i was looking for, it was the right size (basically tiny), 128 meg capacity (which means about 2 hours worth or 2 average 126kbps albums) and has great sound quality. First thing I done was to bin the headphones as I must have weird ears. I CANNOT get away with those style of phones as they just keep falling out, so I bought some Sony Clipons which don't fit right in and consequently lack a bit of bass, but that's the phones not the player. Unfortunately I had to return the player because it kept locking up on me. Speaking to the retailer he has only had one other like that, so I'm thinking it's maybe a spurious thing. The USB is only the USB1 standard and it's SLOOOOOOOWWWWWWW to upload to, but hey i'm not bothered - for the money it's great. People cannot believe it when I show them it and that in itself's cool without the rest.
I've just bought a Kiiro from e-bay(bargain at £23!) for running. However, after I have downloaded music onto it, I can't seem to get it to play. I'm hoping that I'm just doing something wrong, rather than there actually being a fault with the player. Has anyone else had this problem? Any advice? The instruction manual is v. basic and offers no help for this problem.
