The Ending Of The Original Is Still One Of The Gre
The ending of the original is still one of the great "shock endings." This tripe tacks on what it thinks is a shock ending, but it isn't; it's just stupid.
Planet Of The Apes Is A Film I Will Still Watch Wh
Planet Of The Apes is a film I will still watch when it comes on TV. The film details the story of Taylor, who with his crew crashes on a strange planet that is run by apes, with humans regarded as vermin and hunted down.
Taylor befriends some apes who think the treatment of human is wrong and they help Taylor escape his death.
The final scenes should make you think about protecting the planet.
This film works on many levels and apart from some great make-up for the principal apes. That we fear things that are different, and that those in authority will do many things to "protect" us from the truth, and that the future of our planet is in our hands
Planet Of The Apes - This Is A Pretty Good Film, A
Planet Of The Apes - This is a pretty good film, and it has a lot of action and adventure, astronauts go into space and discover this planet and apes live on it, and soon apes take over the world at the end, the outlook on how the future will be is sort of odd.
This Film Will Stand As An Example As To Why It Ca
This film will stand as an example as to why it can be a very bad thing to remake an old classic. Once again the Hollywood cookie-cutter seems to have been in use.
A lot of thought very evidently went into the look and feel of the movie. It looked fantastic and the cinematography was excellent. Unfortunately, as has been the case in the past few years with films of this type, very little thought seems to have been put into the plot or the script. The direction seemed to be lacking more than a little, to the effect of having Tim Roth snarl at the beginning and end of almost every line of dialog. Mark Wahlberg looked to be completely out of his depth, and turned in a poor performance.
The story was loose almost to the point of non-existence, and as for the ending .... There were rumours that several endings had been produced, and, well, if that was the best of them I'd love to see the others just for the sheer comedic value.
I was very disappointed with this effort, and expected more from Tim Burton and Tim Roth. In fact, I think that this was the worst film I saw last year.
If you like mindless eye-candy and can forgive the omission of a plot, then this is for you, otherwise look elsewhere.
I agree this has to be one of the most crud movies I have seen, besides the fact it is SO unrelistic I mean for macrall sack, talking apes! they might of well had singing peanuts it would have been better. I almost fell asleep, it was so BORING!
