Since My Sony Cmt-ex5 Micro System Broke--just Aft
Since my Sony CMT-EX5 Micro System broke--just after the warranty expired, I've researched and found that this is a recurring problem with the CMT-EX5. The top-loading mechanism and CD player, while cool looking, is complex and prone to breaking. The repair shop gave me a quote just by looking at the box. That's how often this model has had problems. Sony will not fess up to this, however. Read the online reviews that are out there. It's uncanny how many people have had this product break just after one year, and Sony doesn't seem to care.
