Utter Waste Of Money

It's absolutely horrendous, there's always terrible lag when watching live, no matter if on the xbox or pc, with fibre optic broadband. Furthermore whenever there is anything actually worth watching on live, particularly football, the website struggles so much it is often frustratingly impossible to even sign in.

I wouldn't waste your time or money with this online service, as you'll still find yourself seeking other measures of live streaming television.

Great!

My son uses this all the time to watch football. I would prefer that he watches it on his phone than the tv when eastenders is on. It doesn't seem to crash like other apps

Left Sky Becasue Of Sky Go And Poor Customer Service

I only watched sky through sky go - I have a TV, but rarely use it.

Worked fine at first then sky put through an update that has stopped my sky go working.

I have now spent, or should I say wasted, 7 hours trying to fix it through the Q&A's, then the help desk and finally on the phone at ridiculous cost for almost 2 hours - at once stage they accidentally cut me off!

The long and the short of it, I cancelled sky.

Then I am informed that I am still expected to pay for my non working service, even though they will not fix it because I have given otice, for the 31 day notice period.

Looking into claiming my money back under non-performance of contract, and definitely not paying anymore.

A warning to anybody that is thinking of joining Sky - DO NOT if anything goes wrong the customer service / support is worse than laughable.

Sky go is not bad if it works - but if it goes wrong you are stuffed.

Now off to spread the word on this shower on as many forums as possible - and taking the £50 a month that I have saved down the pub when the sporting events are on.

Fantastic Idea, Very Poorly Executed. Not Eas

Fantastic idea, very poorly executed.

Not easy to navigate and prone to falling over at the most infuriating time - final day of the Ryder Cup, Sky's flagship event, and a service failure that meant almost the entire day was missed. The response from Sky amounts to an apology and assurance that they've identified the fault. Compensation for me missing the sporting highlight of the year when I pay £60 per month in subscriptions? Not likley, they don't believe they have to as they have the monopoly on the sports. Customer service is a joke. System is often unreliable and slow. Impossible to watch sport and listen to alternative commentary as the pictures lag behind the live event and get further and further behind as the small freezes mount up. If you want to watch a Sky1 show on your pc you'll be ok but do yourself a favour and just buy a HD recorder so you can catch it on your TV later.

Sky Player Is An Application That You Download, Al

Sky player is an application that you download, allowing you to view sky TV through your PC/Laptop. Important to note is that you can only do this if you have a sky subscription, but if you do then this is a great addition to the service you get. With the application on your laptop, you can view sky's live transmission anywhere where you can get a broadband connection. In my case this means at a friend's house - he has broadband but no sky, but this services means we don't miss the sports. Limitations, or reason for mark down? Well, the site nav is pretty rubbish, sky gets you very confused between lots of different services and logins, and most annoying is it doesn't work abroad.

Q&A

frassier

New Laptop Win 10 purchased, had problem with Sky Go and Help service advised I should use IE 11 rather than Microsoft Edge browser (allegedly superior to IE ) to access sky Go.

Useful and constructive comments welcomed from similar sufferers.
