DO NOT BOOK! READ BELOW HOW I GOT A FULL REFUND!

If you got tricked like I did, try following these steps and I got my full refund of 1.1k pounds back.

Firstly, they are a legitimate registered company on the UK Government website. Their company number is on the bottom of their website homepage along with the address, which matches what is registered. Note - it does not matter that the trading and registered name differ, as long as those two details match.

THIS MEANS YOU CAN (POLITELY) SAY YOU WILL TAKE THEM TO UK SMALL CLAIMS COURT!

Before you get to that stage, once you’ve been harassed over email and calls by Sanjeet Kumar Jaishwal and Dharmendra Sikarwar, follow the below steps:

1. Document all your calls and save down emails so you can lodge a formal complaint. They likely have wrongfully terminated your contract as you didn’t “reply within the specified time” (mine was 90mins from booking) providing passport details and additional bank details. DO NOT send them any more details. Passports are only required for flight check in, and they’ve already got your money. DO NOT pay the additional £140 they suggest to ‘re secure’ your booking.

2. Immediately request a refund. They will tell you they can give you back the full amount minus £200. They will then pressure you into replying ‘ALL OK’ to a fake refund email. DO NOT reply saying ‘ALL OK’.

3. Write a formal complaint email outlining your experience. To help, copy and paste their T&Cs, proving that it does not reference any timeframe policy that triggers an automatic non-refundable cancellation.

See below T&Cs from their website:

1.Other Travel Arrangements including Flight-only

All payments made to Us including deposits are non-refundable unless the Third-Party Suppliers terms and conditions permit refunds where You cancel your Booking. For eligible refundable tickets, a Third-Party Supplier may charge a cancellation fee which will vary depending upon the period of cancellation and the services booked. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are aware of the cancellation fees charged by the Third-Party Supplier of your Booking, and you are advised to review the Third-Party Suppliers terms and conditions. We will apply our administration fee of £100 per person to any refunds received by Us from the Third-Party Supplier. Refunds will not be paid by Us until they have been received by Us from the Third-Party Supplier and this can take as long as 6-8 weeks to process and may in some instances, take longer depending on your method of payment and the response time of the Third-Party Supplier. The processing time is beyond Our control as We may need to receive the return of funds from Third-Party Suppliers who may be located in territories where money processing rules or banking infrastructure is such that a refund will take several days or weeks to process. Any refund amounts must be issued back using the same method in which the amount was debited from the Customer. We will keep You informed of the expected processing time, where possible.

4. Contact your bank notifying them of the situation and the upcoming refund. They will check their system if you have any incoming payments and help put alerts on for you

5. Email LycaFly saying that you have notified your bank, and ask them to confirm the below refund details:

* Specify the exact amount refunded

* Confirm the date and time the refund was processed

* Confirm their (LycaFly) bank details the refund was sent from

* Confirm the recipients (yours) bank details the refund was sent too

6. When the refund still doesn’t come through within 3-4 full business working days (despite LycaFly saying it has been processed), email again for the benefit of the doubt. This is important as if it does go to court, you have to have firstly notified your bank and given LycaFly the true opportunity to do the right thing. Also, don’t be threatening or rude - the court won’t be pleased if it gets to that stage!

7. When you again likely hear nothing, follow up with something along the lines of:

“I’ve heard nothing from your team and have not received notification from my bank that a refund is being processed, so I will be looking into other legal avenues to ensure the return of the £XXX owed by your company.”

For me, this scared them off, I stopped getting emails and phone calls, and I had the full refund back within 48hrs.

I hope this helps!!!!

Avoid.....

I had booked my flight to Mumbai with AI via Lycafly, six months before my scheduled departure. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic occurred just before my flight date, and I contacted Lycafly to find out about my options. The representative informed me that my flight had not been cancelled yet, and if it was cancelled, I wouldn't be entitled to a refund. They advised me to cancel my flight to receive a partial refund for the flight tax. However, I later found out that this advice was wrong. Had I not cancelled my flight and AI cancelled it, I would have been entitled to a full refund. The flight was eventually cancelled by AI, which Lycafly had expected. I only received a part of the partial refund that I was promised by Lycafly, and I have been chasing payment of £117.27 for the remaining amount. I have sent at least six emails and made countless calls to follow up, but I have not received any response from Lycafly. The last person I spoke to promised to get back to me in 10 working days, but it has been six months since then, and I have not received any response, even after CC'ing him on emails. It is important to note that Lycafly did not cancel my flight, and they received a full refund, but only gave me a part of the partial refund that I was promised. This has been a pricey lesson. I would avoid this travel agent.

Horrible Service

Absoultely horrible company.

My flight got cancelled and they still charged me 30 pounds cancellation fee and the guy said that they have to run their business. Such a stupid argument. You are charging me service fee for a cancelled flight.

Avoid them.

They got poor customer service abroad and the guys are not trained to do their job.

“the Most Terrible Experience I Have Ever Had. Boo

“The most terrible experience I have ever had. Booked a ticket with them and got a different date, called to cancel just 5mins after and was told cancellation and refund isn't possible. Now left at their mercy, paid an extra £150 and £102 for a date change only to be given the same date I had paid money to change and left with emotional trauma due to bullying from their senior. How this company still trade beats me. What a shame!

Booked A Flight In April 2020 Still No Money Back!!

I have sent at least 20 emails to them. They just fob me off saying they have to wait for Thai Airways to pay them.

When times are hard and I need the £800 I am still waiting.

Like other reviews they advertise a much cheaper price to lure you in, and then stitch you up when your stressed.

I have a few responses but they do not care, unfortunately no choice but to take it to court.

MRRH

Changing The Price On The Time Of The Booking.

They did offer the price just few pounds under the average price after you give your information to book the price changed with £200.

They Will Make Million Excuses If They Need To Ref

They will make million excuses if they need to refund you. Infact, they will not refund you at all. Not trustworthy at all. Please do not book you tickets with them and get duped.

Over Charges

I had a bad experience. I booked online and after 15 mins I got a call from LycaFly that mam do one the pay us £15 more for each ticket and you will get your first change free. I paid £15 extra. but due to some of my personal reason, I call LycaFly to change my booking. and they ask me £110 pound for each member (i booked 5 tickets). And then they start making excuses. I ask manager Sidharth to listen to all phone call recording where LycaFly staff offer us free change but he said may his staff said it by mistake and he is not ready to anything on their mistake just end up paying them extra.

Highly poor service. never ever recommend to anyone.

Avoid Booking Flight Tickets With Lycafly - Horrible

LycaFly failed to inform me about my Kuwait Airways flight schedule change in Kuwait airport even though Kuwait Airways informed LycaFly well in advance. So I was stranded in Kuwait airport for over 15 hours for no fault of mine & NO COMPENSATION PROVIDED FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

The layover as per my ticket in Kuwait airport was less than 5 hours only.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH LYCAFLY. WOULD NEVER BOOK ANY TICKET WITH LYCAFLY.
